Recovery The 2024 Recovery Thread

Oh for inflammatory deteriorating pain now. Go figure. It's the debilitating immune system attack. People get it. Even before covid. That's why there is Methotrexate.

And probably opioid withdrawal.

But definitely PAWS.

good day. 😁

Persistent alcohol withdrawal syndrome?

The reason I was asking is because I have MS and I have pain 24 hours a day that isn't really resolved by gabapentin or any other analgesic.

Because it's caused by scars in the central nervous system, MS causes poor transmission and reception of signals.

Interestingly enough moderate strength long acting benzodiazepines like Librium and Valium actually provide pain relief. Unfortunately trying to explain that to anybody but a MS specialist falls on death ears and I have no prescription.

Damn that sucks. I had a friend who had bottles of 2mg clonazepam (she had pretty advanced MS) but they seemed to help a lot.

@kiely I think I know what you're on about. It's hard when you have pain and specialists don't do shit doctors prescribe something but don't talk you through it. Idk that might not be helpful but hang in there 🌞 Will keep you in my prayers :)

Wow my ear is getting better. A little bit already. Thank you @AngelsandFairiesarereal <3✨

It's not bad like it was. It got real bad. Real bad. I still went outside yesterday and tried.

My balance got knocked out from my inner ear from the whole hospital episode.

It wasn't good. But now it's better. <3

That's exactly what it is.

Now I have to fix it myself.

Thank you so Much too ! :)🔥

Oh yeh and the reason I didn't get the mri is that right up front they said . . . .

You know it was Feb. 3rd and all. I will never forget that date now. They said right away. You know your insurance is expired.

And they showed me what the charges would be. And you know . . . . but then they said get an mri and I didn't frakkin want one

anyway so I got help to get out and I left. Lool. All while doped up and vomiting. They helped me.

And I got spicy chicken breast paddy with orange crush and I blew it all back up. It was soooo goood. Oh yes.<3

smoked again but like 0.003g heroin.

i had to since i had a corporate meeting.

i am out of lyrica but i still have some fenta matrix patches, a bag of brown and 1mg xanax( a lot of them)

i can also get kratom but how should i dose it?

You smoked 3mg of heroin. Surely that would not do anything.

Feeling better than i did earliee now.

240mg codeine CWE and a couple joints.

Its my birthday tomorrow and i'm unlikley to have any drugs 😣

Do we have any nurses or medical people in here that can tell me if I have warning signs or cellulitis
I would go to a doctor if possible. We canot identify a substance let alone a medical/mental "issue".
My best

I'm cutting down my weed use from 1/2oz a month to 1/4oz a month and so far its really easy.

I guess it's nothing when you've already quit the opiates, the nicotine, the alcohol, and the benzos.

No withdrawal symptoms at all I'm just mildly bored.

yeah, no worries for most people with cutting weed down by 50% tbh - but well done anyway if it's important ofr you to cut down - and yeah what you've already quit makes weed pale into insignificance!

edit - and the boredom is the withdrawal!

If you can go to the doctor just to rule it out & make sure you’re okay, there’s nothing wrong with being overly cautious when it comes to cellulitis … you’ll either have peace of mind, or if it is then treating it earlier gives you better chances of fighting it off.
Good luck amigo, I hope it’s all good
Big hug 💜

Thank you 🙏

Yeah I spoke to a nurse friend and she said it didn't look like that. I think my skins just fucked up from all the swelling.
