Nice trailer thats for sure. I reckon It'll be a good movie, most definitely will get bashed to fuck, but that won't change my view on it.
 
looks totally retarded. hmm yes buildings will collapse everywhere on earth, aircraft carriers will capsize and the u.s. government finally unveils what they've been hiding at area 51. it makes perfect fucking sense! no, no, wait. it doesn't. at least the plot of deep impact included a plausible cause for our mass extinction.
 
i think this movie is going to make a lot of people think, but i do not think its going to do well.
we've seen this before, you know whats going to happen in the end. im still going to see it either way cuz i think the effects are great
BUT
in the trailer i got pissed off , they destroyed the Sistine Chapel ceiling!!! thats my favorite piece of art :(, shit if thats going to happen i need to get to Italy

if you like to see things breaking, buy some eggs. you'll find more plot smashing them yourself than what will be in this obvious piece of crap.

I'm interested in the 2012 prophecy and this movie just seems to be exploiting it.
 
Admittedly, I would have watched this film last year when the first wave of 2012 buzz was washing over the interwebs.

But since then I've wised up a fair amount and realized it's 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 percent likely just another conspiracy theory with absolutely no merit behind it.

The special effects look OKAY, but even then I don't think it's enough to justify the lack of real plot or the nonexistent deviance from the mundane banality that is Hollywood.

If I wanted to see shit blow up without a real story to back it up I'd go see Transformers.
