Benzos Etizolam

He may have said it harshly but this is a harm reduction site and taking " a pinch " of powdered etizolam is indeed idiotic and such behavior is what leads to negative attention

Sorry this might be mentioned in this thread previously but how does etizolam compare to valium?
Valium is the only form of benzo I've tried before and it was pretty subtle to me at 5-10mg. Not solely looking for recreational value from this but could this help me with my insomnia? in the short term at least.
Supposedly 1mg etizolam = 10mg valium, but they're different in the sense that etizolam affects serotonin as well, and valium's metabolite has an 18 hour half-life.
I say just try it. It's not the same as any scheduled benzos.

Thnx for the info.
Spotted a source from India and about to order some. I travel often and this seems to be useful for my long plane rides, stim sessions, sleep n etc.
Kind of stoked hehe.

Valium feels cleaner than etizolam to me. Etiz has a hazy next day type of hangover if you take more than one, though it's not quite the same or as bad as xanax's. you'll notice it only a little later in the morning, lasting the rest of the day; the deep sleep refreshment covers it up at first but it definitely comes out to me later; could be different with everyone though.

i prefer valium but this stuff is far easier to obtain (and cheaper). prefer it over xanax and it is more forgiving than xanax or valium (i can take 3-5 etiz and be a wasted fuck but still walk myself to bed. i definitely can't on those other benzos).

Thnx. It's just that benzos are scheduled under Schedule IV. But etizolam is an analogue so I assume they are ok unless analog act is in effect like USA heh.

US Analog Act applies to only Schedule I and II... benzos are IV (though flunitrazepam is I in some states)

Yes, what I said still stands. I had already covered how my behaviour was stupid, I don't need some other, eh, person, going over it. I'm an adult not a wee laddie.

^ Yeah, this is a common side effect of most benzo-class drugs, especially when used in fairly large doses.

Yeah I was pretty positive that it happened for large doses, or frequent use but I've taken a decent amount of diazepam and phenazepam before and never had any depressive side effects. But the next quote might explain that.

Are you sure it has an effect on serotonin? Cause that would definitely explain why I have experienced a depression after taking this but not diazepam or phenazepam. Also, I've had etizolam for 3 or 4 months now and never took it often, and never noticed this effect until now. Guess I need like a month break perhaps.

Are you sure it has an effect on serotonin?

I was wondering the same thing. Ive never seen that mentioned anywhere, and i've been doing a lot of fact finding on the stuff.

Pothed, where did you get that info ? Do you have a link to it ?

Just to take this a little further, there are two options.

1. People who make stupid mistakes and recognise that they are stupid mistakes feel comfortable sharing their stupid mistakes with other people so that those other people might not make them.

2. People who make stupid mistakes and recognise that they are stupid mistakes are abused when they attempt to share their stupid mistakes and decide that, fuck it, they'll keep their mistakes to themselves.

Option 1 is clearly the best option. So let's encourage Option 1. If people own up to stupid mistakes, I think the correct response is perhaps sympathy and possible further exploration into why those mistakes were stupid. The incorrect response is to call the person an idiot, because it discourages continued sharing of stupid mistakes.

To be fair when I confessed the whole mxe-parents-walk-in-wake-up-in-hospital saga back last march, almost exactly the same course of events unfolded. 95% sympathy/respect for coming forward, and then that 5% who said 'you've gone and fucked it up for the rest of us you cunt'

Whereas, (no names mentioned)*FARMAZ*laid into me for hastening the banning of his MXE (obviously hastened fuck-all as it turned out), for DexterMeth to tell the forum at large to 'wise up'...He's absolutely right. It's when we forget we're playing with fire that we get burned...

The whole intent of my post was to encourage "wising up" in general. We should all wise up! Me too, and I think I have. But being called an idiot did not encourage me to wisen up. It just made me think DexterMeth was being a bit of a prick ;)

I mean, there have been several posts highlighting the fact that I behaved foolishly, and I can accept and agree with them. But only DM's was rude and to be frank it's left me angry at him/her since I read it!

Fact is, I am not an idiot. I am a fairly intelligent human being who is capable of making the odd mistake, in this case due to an emotional low, drunkenness and complacency. The point of my post was to remind people, including myself not to get complacent. I think examples are a great way of reminding people of the dangers.

In fairness I think most recreational users of benzodiazepines or (thienodiazepines) will have brought booze into the mix at some point, blacked out and done something inexplicable. Not that it's a great idea, but learning from shame and embarrassment is an efficient learning method and I'm glad you're alright. It doesn't make you stupid. I'm sure you wont do it again, unless you enjoy shame and embarrassment, in which case you should defo see a therapist qualified to talk to you, or maybe just a specialised hooker ;)

Latter option sounds like my preferred option, I'll be checking my PMs, thanks! =D

Bluelight is a great place for all kinds of reasons, one of which is that we can be honest and straightforward with each other without people ripping the piss out of us - which is also fine if it's done in a positive, humourous way.

Looking at prices for therapists compared to the prices of hookers -- the therapists are fucking killing it, and you generally have to keep going back. I can see why "rapist" is part of their title, rapists of bank accounts :D.

.This is just immature drunk banter, we all know they do massively help improve peoples lives (therapists, maybe hookers also but I don't know about that)

I'm not really a benzo taker so I don't know what euphoria is with Etizolam. I only ever use them after I've taken some MXE to help me sleep, 2mg. I've tried them on their own but the euphoria is only very moderate for me imo, 4/10. I never get this warm feeling some people describe, just mildly uninhibited and muscle relaxation on 1.5mg. They're not bad I suppose.

I find Etizolam rubbish for sleep, say for example if I've been on any strong stimulants on a night out on 6-apb. Even with 4mg I cannot sleep. One time I took 4mg then the next day I noticed that I'd taken 12mg all in one day on a Sunday. I just noticed that they had nearly all gone. I couldn't remember a thing and was just eating them like sweets, quite scary being so uninhibited. They're good for comedowns to help you relax but no good for sleep imo.

IS THIS BENZO like xanax or klonopin or it a rc?

Don't mean to sound like a dick but seriously? Just read back like a page or two and you'll find out exactly what the effects are. Technically all new drugs are research chemicals, and this isn't a benzo, it's a thienodiazepine.
