@eyepie: abilify has a lesser side effect profile and is a d2 partial agonist rather than d2 antagonist, I'd rather have had abilify due to that factor, but I've seen complaints of the same degree and nature

@eyepie it depends on what form of abilify you are talking about. My personal opinion is abilify is a “lighter” drug than Invega Sustenna. I know that abilify also makes an injection too and I’m not too sure about that because I have no experience with the abilify injection. I think anytime an injection is the devil. It just stays in your body too long and the doctors really have their head up their ass guesstimating how long a long acting injection really stays in your body.
I have taken abilify in pill form before and know it to be a partial dopamine agonist/antagonist where invega is a full on antagonist which blocks more receptors in my opinion.
You may want to ask @invegauser too. He’s pretty knowledgeable about this stuff. If I had a gun to my head and I had to choose I would have chose the abilify any day. But I am really not for either.

Aaaaand it looks like @invegauser chimed in at the same time I did. Lol, looks like @nybryx knows what’s up too. Lol

@nybryx as far as the working out and feeling no endorphins ,yes, I can relate. That’s why it is SO hard to get the motivation to work out on a regular basis because you don’t get the same “reward” as you would if you had never taken the injection. I know for myself I have to literally tell myself “you are working out and your just gonna do it” I feel nothing when I work out. Very blank and NO “runners high”. I long for the day that I can actually feel that stuff again. I know it’s gonna happen it’s just taking more time than I expected it to.

Has anyone noticed a change in dreaming? I don't feel like I dream really. Is that possible that the shot effects dreams/dreaming?

Thanks @invegauser for the reassurance, exercise is the best buzz, i never imagined that it could actually be blocked let alone that be foisted upon us. Do you train more and feel more now compared to say 6 months ago?

Thanks @willowblossom, im 2 months since last shot and Ive begun to feel feedback from lifting weights and a little high during training and sweating a little more than I did after 4 weeks, so theres definitely been improvement, I think that feeling from exercise is a good way to measure recovery, just goes to show how much we are blocked when we cant get a runners high, what a joke. How long has it been since your last dose of poison?

I didn't want to post in a while, but I had to ask this: Does anyone or did anyone get numb hands? Maybe even close to carpel tunnel like pain? I've got numbness in mornings. This symptom does not seem to be associated with everyone.

+
I looked at some porno pic like once, and I just got grossed out. something like this didn't happen b4... not only have I lost erections, but now this is unusual.

@nybryx it’s been a little over 7 months since my last injection. I do wonder if the mg. Amount one received plays a role in how long this stuff really stays in your system. All were of high mg. 7 156mg and 3 234mg. I still have a lot of problems being that I have been off this stuff for 7 or so months. I thought a few things would have got back to normal by now but they haven’t. Still waiting. :/
It makes me hopeful seeing a few of the stories where people start to get better, I’m just waiting for that to happen. It’s got to.

I do not believe the main ingredient for the cause of long term brain damage in Invega is Palperidone. Just like how 20mg pill of prozac is 100% fluoride in USA but 20mg just if created by an Indian pharmaceutical company w rest of it HCL.

@Willowblosom: sorry to hear youre having anhedonia issues at 7 months, it can be shockingly disheartening waiting for the numbness and fog to clear, i think the duration and dose will play a significant role and you seem to be fighting back well, lets hope you have noticed some good progress and are past the worst. i dont have half the willpower to prepare healthy stuff as you do and go running frequently so you must be progressing. hows the new dopamine agonist you started taking going? ive ordered some ayahuasca to microdose with and to provide relief whenever the anxiety peaks, it contains MAOI which raises norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin, might be worth looking into to add to your arsenal

Where's everyone from? I'm from the US. Danville IL. A couple hours south of Chicago.

@most ultimate I have wondered the same thing about paliperidone. It is just crazy how long the stuff lasts in your body. I know a decent amount is still in my body because my bloodwork proves it. Dopamine is still not at its regular to full potential and prolactin is still lurking.

@nybryx that’s good information. I am going to look into that stuff. The dopamine agonist is going alright. Dr. Recently switched me from Bromocriptine to the Cabergoline. The bromo didn’t stop the leaking boob thing, neither has the Cabergoline yet. The dr. Told me to give the cab a month to work or so, I’m only a little over a week into the cab. Supposedly it’s better than the bromo so who knows, I hope to see some kind of improvement here soon. I have noticed that juicing does help keep my energy up and gives me a boost. There are definitely things that I have seen mentally that are improving, it’s the physical stuff that my body has not healed from yet ( the high prolactin, lactating, no period and weight gain ) I know if mentally I’m healing some, my body has got to follow as well.

@steph78 I’m from the Pacific Northwest :) I don’t usually say where exactly I’m from but I’m from the rainy part of the US lol

@willowblosom ive read one recovery story by user Decisive on page 23 about her period returning

Hi everyone :)

2 months ago I let you know that I've fully recovered from this poison after having waited 10 months off! Now I'm even better, I finally recovered today my periods! So, for the girls, don't worry they will come back as painful as before ! lol

I'm rooting for you guys, it's just a matter of time, be strong and patient you'll see the results, I swear it

With love,

Decisive

I talked to you a couple of months ago, i hope you are doing great... i have been trhrough the WORST a human being can imagine. i got treated wrong with invega sustenna and an antidepressant while i just had a fever, i didnt have a mental illness. that happened years ago i got invega shot 3 years ago i still suffer from these side effects: high anxiety, very high, whiinig attacks, nervous pain, tiredness and other symptoms...the worst thing is the anxiety... i read a story about a woman that got haldol a shot of it and NEVER returned to her old self. she could never work again, she got these meds when she was healthy (the same thing happened to me as a healthy person). they treated me wrong when i was mentally healthy and just had a fever. they put me on these shots back then. i think it stays forever it feels more than permanent. does anyone know recovery stories and if there are recovery stories i always read it from people who were really ill i wasnt mentally ill when i got that thats why i think my handicapps will stay forever. i need a lot of help from my mom and life is miserable. do you know any success stories? thank you tina

My life was great before this wrong treatment. i had it all a job , a boyfriend, i was active. they ruined me and my life i lost hope
