annoying sayings from drug users

the classic exaggerators 'ive had 10bottles of vodka/10g coke/50mg xanax/100mg valium/10lsd tabs and i barely feel it my tolerance is so high' ... so hardcore
 
Yes, like the purest thing ever. "My dealer got it directly from the source. 99% pure, etc." pretty classic..
 
I always thought that dicksizing about tolerance was completely stupid and pointless, too. The real smart users are the ones that keep their tolerances small (or try to, at least)
 
It's good while it lasts. I was lucky with benzos, my tolerance lasted years and years. Just by taking it right.
But on the opposite direction with opiates. Unfortunately.
 
Any slang term for Heroin, or obnoxious slang terms for other drugs. Back when Headshops and Mephedrone were just becoming the rule of the highstreet in 2009, I went into a headshop and asked the owner if I could buy some Mephedrone, the owner who was clearly indulging in his own products looked at me funny and then made a sort of clawing motion with his hand and said "Oh you mean Meow Meow!" I think I died a little inside and left without buying anything.
 
One thing that always annoys me is hearing that he or she can not do it, because they think they are different from everyone else. We are all certainly different but if that's one thing I find in common between us is the fact we all can quit when we put together all of our efforts into the quitting and recovery 'thing'.
 
^ Most of us have gone through this phase. And sometimes that's the only thing I love to talk about.

yh WELL annoying. This because whether a drug is natural or not has no bearing whatsoever on how bad it is for you:

there are many deadly poisons in nature AND

pain medication and prescription medicine (non-psychoactive and psychoactive chemicals) can save your life, treat illness and they are man-made.

think harder

+1 for sure, that is always annoying. "you dont understand i cant get off opiates because of (self diagnosed issue x)" plenty of people have plenty of issues be it stomach or general pain diagnosed by a specialist and dont do opiates. Not mocking chronic pain patients this is more toward self diagnosed people who use it as an excuse.

Everyone has their preferences of course, but...I know that I'm a polydrug user, anyway

It's annoying as shit to look for drugs for other people...so I don't particularly blame him for dragging his feet when it comes to that...
