If you use decent filtration (tightly woven cloth as prefilter and then cone coffee filters) then what you need to mainly worry about is acetaminophen that dissolves and is unfilterable. Acetaminophen is soluble at a rate of about 14mg/mL of water, so as long as you don't go crazy with the water you shouldn't get too much of it through.
 
How many Co-dydramol have u guys taken in one hit 500/10

I have a monthly script of co-dydramol (500mgs apap , paracetamol with 10mgs of DHC dihydrocodine)

at the moment i like take 2 of em with 3 neurofen plus (200mg ibuporfen and 12.8mg codeine per pill).. so i get a fairly decent amount of opiates but not that much...

i know pharmacology moderately well . and i know that apap will shank my liver and ibuprofen will rott my gutt. i know about CWE but im lazy and cant be bothered with this..

how many 500mgs(apap) do u lot think is safe to take - i personally never take more than 3 of them in one go - because im careful and like my insides the way they are

i was thinking about this lately and thought well - why not be humble and ask blue-light so here i am...

anyway, the max amount of APAP were meant to consume per day is 4g (4000mg), and 2g in one dose.

if youre only taking 3 at a time then youre going to be fine. drinking alcohol will cause some stomach problems with the APAP though, so avoid drinking if you had intentions.

can i take 2 grammes in one dose then ? it says dont take any more than 1 grammes but well u know ...

i dont want to do CWE left wing i would have rather that u didnt merge it :(

yeah youll be fine with 2 grams at once. its generally no real big fuss taking the 4g in one dose, as long as you arent making a common occurence of it.

the reason i merged it was because its sorta relating to CWE (in a very distant way ha), otherwise i can split it and move it into basic drug discussion because its not an OD topic

ok thank you dude - i might ake 4 tonight then (2grammes apap and 40mgs dhc with 38mg codeine + 600mg ibuprofen from 3x neurofen plus ) sound ok ?

can u split it for me then please boss ? i would rather have a more direct repsonse from the masses on this - better facilitated by an individual thread

ps. why is it not OD material its about opiates ?? (just for my future ref )

yeah, that sounds alright

the reason it doesnt belong in OD is because its a basic question, regardless whether its about opiates or not:) you got the answer you wanted so theres really no need to split it anyway. it just takes a little bit of time for people to reply whether its a mega thread not. i dont understand why people bag on these so much because they are effective.

sorry dude, ive forgotten how to split the posts out and send it to BDD so if you want, start a thread over there. i wont tell;)
 
can i use something instead of a coffee filter for CWE

like something i can easily find around the house.

Seconded T-shirt suggestion. Cut a square out of one you don't mind wrecking. My CWE filter for the last 6 months has just been a bit of one side of a T-shirt. Filters quickly and shit.

10 Solpadols (30mg codeine/500mg paracetamol) in one go. I had to go and I'd forgotten to do a CWE. Didn't feel great and wouldn't recommend.

Cheesecloth is a really good cloth to use for this. It works wonderfully for me, much better than a t-shirt.
 
i have muslin - i can use that i guess ... do i need to leave the crushed tablets in cold water for a long time ?

can i use the muslin ?

no prob.. cuz you wouldnt want the apap getting through and into the water mixture thats supposed to be pure opiate, the apap would stay on top of whatever your using as a filter. (like a coffee filter)

yeah i know i dont want the apap to go int here - i have done cold water extraction before and i used coffee filters - will prob need , to get some more

i was hoping i could do it with muslin but - the gaps are probably to big in it - its fine for kava - but with apap obv i have to be safe -
