Heroin/Hard Drugs Dealer?

IAmJacksUserName said:
How about Pablo Escobar? He was the world's largest cocaine kingpin, and at one point was the seventh richest person in the world according to Forbes. That didn't stop him from being captured (Although he escaped) and eventually killed by the police. Both Carlos Ledher and George Jung were two of the top guys in the Medellin cartel, yet they both got busted along the way. To quote the movie Traffic, no one gets away clean.

Get your facts straight.

Pablo Escobar was killed by a vigiliante group who called themselves Los Pepes, or, the people persecuted by pablo escobar, a group of rebels whose families had been harmed by pablo escobar and sought revenge, gunning him and his bodyguard down in the streets. He was not killed by police.

As well, to further show your ignorance, perhaps you should look into the Ochoa family. Specifically Jorge Ochoa, one of Pablos partners in the Medellin caretel. He was arrested by colombian police, served a very short several year sentence, and was released and allowed to keep the majority of his money made. Hes now retired away in the mountains near Medellin living the good life. So to say every kingpin gets fucked is the most ignorant shit ever heard. 99.9% do NOT. You cant base that statement on Pablo, he was a VERY violent and flambouyant man, that is why he failed for longevity. He brought about his own demise. Those at the 'top of the chain' are the smartest people you will ever meet, this is how they got to the 'top' and this is how they stay at the 'top'.

NOW your everyday street dealers, these are the ones who get busted left and right. But when the DEA follow the 'trails' per say up the chain, they almost always hit a 'break' in the chain, this break is whhere the seperation between dumbass 'dealers' and highly intelligent 'suppliers' occurs. The DEA VERY RARELY are able to get any farther than that.

I love how people who dont even deal drugs seem to beleive they know how its done... maybe you know how some junk feeding his habit slangin bags in an ally 'works', but beyond that your all fuckin clueless. Anyone can sell on the streets, but it takes a tried and true buisness man of high intellect to operate in the large scale.

i cant imagine a "hard drug" dealer not having a normal life. being its there main source of income in most cases they're bound to spend alot of time on teh road but it doesnt mean they dont rest there head next to their wife and kiss their kids good night. in that sense theyre normal. but other than that dealing and makin money is just a way to get by. it becomes part of you and soon gettin your rocks out is just as normal as eating lunch. i think we're all just normal peple gettin by. and for the record ive known tons of "hard drug" dealers in my days.

my dealer is just a normal, everyday kind of kid, you'd never guess it. he fits in just like the rest. he's actually a coke head and can get just about anything you want. pretty nice situation. he makes a living off selling drugs and he's doin fine. he's not a dick, he's chill.

Good post Sphinx (Afterlife).

Just a few comments...

Those "top dogs" are watched in most cases, and the DEA is well aware of who they are - maybe even know their identities, their homes, and every transaction they do.

This doesn't mean much, nor does it contradict what you are saying at all. Untouchables perhaps...?

Hypothetically, when I buy coke from Detroit it's from a black guy. At first I was like "fuck man, this guy's a thug", but that was just me being stupid and stereotyping, and as it turns out he's really a nice guy and always hooks me up good.

Sometimes it takes him awhile to give me the goods 'cause he's always doing other deals, but it's good shit, and I've never been shorted.

As for heroin, well I don't fuck around with it, so I can't really say much about smack dealers.

I know a coke dealer who is 24 and is rich. he owns his own business and sells coke. He sells mostly 1/8s-1/4s and he has his own house, a nice car, and a hottub and nice shit inside.

uh its funny how people seem to think people are living the good life cause they got nice cars ,a house etc ...my guess is they are in debt up to there ears and deal the shit to pay for it

unless they ARE way up the chain then they could own there shit but to me the good life is not having any bill cept cable/satilite ,internet, insurance etc

not a 4000 dollar house payment, 700 dollar car payment ,they might be making the payment easily by selling the drugs but they get popped and there credit is back to near shit ,alot of them have there stuff in other peoples names cause they have no credit just drug cash to pay for it ,dont get me wrong i would pay with drug cash as well

..... in the ghetto. .....

any way..... all the smack I get these days I get from this black dude and it's always #4. He is not in the ghetto and does not do his own dope. He is a little on the Gangsta side but is a nice dude. All the coke I lay my hands on comes from several different white dudes who all wanna be Gangsta. And the only sketchy person I would call sketchy is the dude I get my K4's from. He is the back woods redneck type and likes to do his dope as much as he likes getting rid of it.

Any way.... one more time. Lets say it all together.

Fabio Ochoa Restrepo pretty much did. And so do then bankers behind the drug money.

The only smack dealer I've ever dealt with was a totally sketchy guy. He also sold OC's and would wear latex gloves when handling any product. He didn't use any opiates himself, but was about as sketchy as it gets. He was putting himself through college with the income, but I guess he's just full-time selling now.

ITT: Stereotypes.

Hard drug dealers can be you neighbor, the guy in line behind you at the supermarket, or someone you pass on the road.

ITT: Rat tat tat tat gets one step closer to banning for his non stop racist remarks! Golly gee thats great, aint it kids?

Ive told you before. Quit that shit.

My dealer is white and doesn't even look that sketchy but I know he's got a gun and hella people he can call if things go up. He also acts sketched out as fuck most of the time.

%90 of the people i have bought dope from in the past have been heroin addicts themselves, thats if your buying small ammounts like a few G's cause all the bigger dealers round here get the addicts to peddle it for them.

I've known quite a few coke dealers that didn't look like they did or dealt drugs and they were usually the most str8 up people to deal with.

Has anyone met a heroin dealer who was like Edward Norton's character from "25th Hour?" (Well dressed, doesn't even own a gun, from a good background, intelligent, kind, polite, etc.) Or do those even exist?
Well I dressed nicely, came from a well-to-do background I suppose you could call it... I did, however, own a hand gun. Comes with the territory, I suppose. I'm Italian/Puerto Rican/Irish/Spanish by the way, your "All-American Mutt". If that's "White", then I guess I'm white. We're all generics nowadays, that's just my opinion. Someday we will all just be grey.

I've known dealers who were the no vehicle, ghetto types with 5 baby mommas, and the PT college student, FT H dealer.... I've also had the big baller type with the latest BWM/Mercedes and all the jewels, packing heat..... they come in all types...

the people that i bought heroin from were poor minority inner city 15-25 year olds for the most part. they acted like they were ballin hardcore and lived a very fast and dangerous life.
They always played up their hustling like they were the next scarface but in actuality they were just pushing bags for the real distributors and hustlers.

They didn't appear, act or live much differently than the inner city kids who sold weed , crack or coke. To me they just seem like typical inner city drug dealers, which don't act much differently than any other inner city kids except they have more drama and more money
...nothing really special at all. they're a dime a dozen, as soon as one gets arrested or killed a friend or family member would take their place...then they'd get out of jail and do it again...

of course thats just my experience.
