Good luck man! You can do it!

what type of electronic music ? Techno ? I have been to Tresor a couple of times in berlin way way back....

Love my Techno and Acid house

That's a Godsend if you're addicted asf and homeless, gives u the option to get ur life back. The morphine option is amazing too. Do you have to pay anything to be on the program? Or it's free? Damn, I envy European 1st world countries.
Lol no we don't have to pay for our medication. Most of us are broke as fuck and the program is there to help exactly these type of people. Here in Germany everyone is medically insured, even if you are unemployed (in which case the government pays for your insurance, rent and you get 504€ per month for living expenses). If you have a job your employer pays half your insurance, but no matter how much opioids you need in the program to stay well (ofc there is SOME kind of limit. You can't just go up to 3600mg of morphine, but nobody I know of even needs more than 1200mg anyway. There seems to be some kind of satiation level when it comes to opioid tolerance.), insurance pays for it and you don't have to worry about money at all. People complain a lot about our country but we legit have one of the best and most humane health care systems in the entire world and I'm thankful for it.

Tehehe, just came home now from the doctor's office and I can already feel the buzz coming up. Time to kick back, cuddle myself in my lamb fur blanket and enjoy the high 🥴
Have a nice day/night wherever you are my friend...

EDIT:
ah I see you are in Lima. In that case, good night 🙃

But, if I spoke German I'd be there as of 2016... thank God they take care of there own. Talk about, "Germany first"... not speaking about nationalism here.
It is a requirement for foreigners to learn the language, because you're expected to integrate into society. It's also just in your own interest in terms of work, social and daily life, etc.

But that doesn't mean you have to speak the language BEFORE you arrive! There's special courses for immigrants, it's a governmental provision. You simply enrol in one when you start living there, and help will be available to you to do so.
It's a very nice country to live in. High living standards, very good public healthcare, low crime rate, and not to mention the bread is second to none. ;)

I go back for visits, and enjoy them. I don't plan on moving back there to live however, for the simple reason that life has taken me somewhere else and I have no social contacts in my home country now. No friends ; and any of my relatives still alive are ones I don't care about.

@Hexenstahl for how long did you use heroin? I'm stopping too after 2 years snorting everyday.
I've been using for nearly 12 years. I just got tired of this incredibly destructive lifestyle (not the drug itself is to blame, but the prohibition and all the consequences that it evokes) and am now in substitution treatment and feeling fine. I get my Polamidon every week in the form of an oral solution which I shoot up in the morning and it gets me high for the entire day lol. Insurance pays for all of it and I finally have enough free time and money to deal with other things in life.

I read your earlier posts about Polamidon (which I had never heard of before) and it sounds amazing. I always enjoyed plain old-fashioned methadone but this stuff sounds way better. I'm currently on kratom and haven't taken any "real" opioids in 3 years. Kinda sorry I missed that one.

Just curious-- does the clinic know that you shoot it or is supposed to be strictly for oral use? No judgment at all from me-- it sounds like you're doing well and I just hope you're not risking expulsion from the program.

Glad you're off the street shit!

The doctors know that we basically all shoot up our Polamidon and don't give a fuck because doctors in this country know that you can't prevent someone from doing a specific ROA just as much as you can't prevent people from doing drugs, which is why our doctors eventually stopped putting syrup into the solution and give Harm Reduction advice. There is even a brochure at the entrance of our clinic on how to properly IV drugs lol. My doctor is cool af anyway. We casually talk about drugs and the stupid war on drugs, etc. I already consider him a friend. That's how much of a nice and helpful person he is. Always makes sure we get enough to get our minds off dope and if someone wants to get off he decreases the dose as slowly as possible and prescribes as many comfort meds as one needs. A friend of mine is currently tapering off morphine and gets Truxal as a sleep aid which is a really powerful med. The nurses are cool too. Nobody here makes you feel bad for being an addict. My doctor recently said "I'm fine with people doing drugs as long as they are aware of the consequences and accept them". I fully agree!

I will make sure to buy the doctors and nurses nice christmas gifts as a thank you for all the help they are giving me and for being humane people. I will bake them a cake or something. They really deserve it. My doc worked his ass off and filled out a whole bunch off bureaucratic paper work in order for me to get my Polamidon.

It's so cool that you live in a place where the approach to treating addiction is both rational and compassionate.

Here in the USA it's getting better but we still have a long way to go. A lot depends on which state you live in, which treatment center you go to, what kind of insurance you have, etc.
As with everything else, if you're rich you've got plenty of options. Otherwise you're probably screwed.

Not many things are free, I got off Medicaid. and found that out. Tax payer supplied drugs. Why no free beer when I was broke?

If I'm not mistaken a rich person in the US can simply go to a private doctor and very easily get an opioid prescription of his choice. Is that correct? Someone once told me a private doctor can prescribe you anything as long as you got enough money to pay for it.

Yep.

Just ask Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, or Prince.
