That dose amount is most likely equivalent of some other meds in terms of quantity, no?
It does not have to be so strong either.
Have you considered taking another medication? Or maybe use this opportunity to try to quit..(?)

I am only saying this because it will get worse by the day ...
I started early and build my way up almost unconsciously.
Have so much regret right now.
 
I was a bit short of my usual codeine dose (150mg instead of 210mg), so decided to supplement it with a single 30mg DHC pill. Long story short, it totally overpowered the codeine buzz and left me feeling pretty nauseous for a good couple of hours.

It's crazy how much YMMV with codeine and DHC, and how different the substances actually are. Most would choose DHC over codeine every time, yet I find it totally unpleasant.

FWIW, I very much enjoy DHC. Getting to the end of a strip.

Just at the end of a strip? I shan't bother with the innuendo as you've probably anticipated it. If not, you're probably recoiling right now.
 
I've come to expect every innuendo possible, having had boys from my old school get in contact with me now I'm no longer the ugly kid. (Well, at least not in the pictures I put on social networks.) So I expected a couple comments on that "strip" of mine. :p
 
You didn't introduce yourself to me with "truth or dare?" or "20 questions?", which helps.

For me DHC is better, its longer lasting thats for sure. I find DHC to more euphoric then codeine on its own, its just a heavier hit to me and gets me pinned for alot longer.

Had the most embarrising codiene pick up ever in lloyds pharma earlier, i could hear a bunch of women laughing round the back when i asked for Co codomal. =D the joys of being an addict
 
What's so funny about collecting painkillers from a pharmacy:? That is very unprofessional conduct on their part. Ive been sacked for less than that. :\ (this isnt new news, its a historical sacking.

Ok if you have a history of depression or anxiety or both. Opiates are a bad idea

If you take into consideration we are all opiate addicts and its what our brain loves, of course your brain will get hooked from external use of opies. Doesn't have to produce its own anymore and its that simple

N+ is better as it's 12.8 codeine / 200 ibu where co-cods are 8mg codeine / 500 para. Always ask for N+. Contains ibu not para.

One of them shouted " not allowed" which is what happened to me in in the smaller lloyds in my town the strictest pharma ever, they refused to serve me a few weeks back so its about that really and the women was an absolute cunt about it. Both lloyds pharma's are 5 mins walk from each other this is a small town im on about so yeah they remember you, not like in a city where you can get away with it loads.
 
There's an art to it. And you NEVER go to a pharmacy you were refused a few weeks prior. That's probably why they laugh. You do realise they communicate with each other, right?! They have locolms who go to different pharmacies.

Ive ordered some more pure codeine phosphate pills. Hopefully this time things will go to plan a bit better, and I'll use the codeine to taper off kratom. 2 weeks on a stem and vein taper and then a 2 week codeine taper. On paper this sounds like it could work in masking the kratom w/ds that can last a month, as ive been taking it daily for so long now ive lost track.

They do say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing but expecting a different outcome the next time. I dont really agree with that; if i can muster up just a little bit of self discipline it could work. The w/ds from 2 weeks of codeine use should be over far quicker than the w/ds from several months of kratom use. The psychological PAWS is by far the worst thing about kratom w/ds, which is why in seeking options to make this easier. The physical effects are quite mild, just feel a lack of energy and motivation until the brain starts producing its own natural endorphins again,

As a matter of interest why do you say that, is it because they can make your original symptoms worse than they were to start with in the long run, or if such people would be more prone to becoming addicted due to the lift out of depression or anxiety that they can deliver?

What if they seem to help smooth out some of lifes rough edges, the tolerance and restrictions they put on you are a bit of a bind, to say the least.

Common sense, really People with depression tend to escape through opiates. It's the main reason for my codeine addiction. It's all in my codeine addiction thread so not gna repeat it.

Sigh.... it's not about the WD affects or the strength of the drugs. You need to deal with this, MDB. You've a major addiction issue and switching between stuff isn't gna change that. I'll E-mail you tomorrow, having a drink at mo xxxx

PPS: From personal experience any form of pure codeine will make things worst. You're just kidding yourself :(

I think you're underestimating MDB's resolve.

MDB I know you're still having ups and downs, but I also remember how you managed to taper off opioids in the past. All by yourself too. You're a clever guy, so I'm sure you've done your research in terms of the codeine taper.

Just try not to enjoy it too much!
 
No I haven't. Lets resume this convo 6 months time. Don't say I never tried to help.

I'm two years suboxone due to getting the pure codeine tablets. I know what I'm talking about. No offense but I'm a bit more aware of MDB's situation and that's why I'm concerned over this. He n I E-mail a far bit....
