My Ex ( self proclaimed princess pornstar nympho) Kools, and Cartel Ice.
Order TBD
I still remember those Kools commercials from the 90's. Makes me want a menthol cigarette now and I don't even smoke anymore. Goes well with meth too.

Maybe I'm a princess pornstar nympho... fuck

SSRI:s (escitalopram) after 11 years of use. It fucked up my nervous system, and after 2 years stopping (i tapered) I still struggle with hypersensitivity, pssd, fatigue, poor stress resilence, chronic pain and stomach problems, to name a few.

I find hard to beat a weekly drinking habit also. And cigarettes. Weed also I guess.

I became fast 'friends ' with my supply, He couldn't fathom my tolerance. Spent many a night sitting at the table tryin to kill one another. I'd get a call ( on my bag phone no less) mid week. Hey cuz', got some ether ya wouldn't believe!
Me: Man, it ain't payday yet. D: Mothafucker, Did I say for sale? C'mon. I'd hit the door to couple 10 packs and a pile on the table. Fuck filters. Till dawn, work next day a bitch, but always couple K4's for after work.
That's when coke was coke. Ran about 9 months shook his hand, and excused myself.
A year later, took some on a bud trade, water to the spoon, WTF? Buddy dropped cotton in. Fuck that, I'm out.
I wonder if that level still even exists here.
Nearly 30 yrs ago, salivating now Dammit LOL.
NOTHING compares

Iv cocaine was easily the top of this list. Not cocaine used intranasal or cocaine base/crack cocaine smoked - intravenous cocaine.

Then intravenous diacetylmorphine/fentanyl.

And a close runner up to this would be cigarettes/nicotine - mainly because of how engraved the behavior becomes in every day life. I remember at day 50 I was still reaching into my pocket, subconsciously, for a cigarette after a meal. It was very difficult to quit, and if I wasn't in the hospital for 8 months, I probably never would have succeeded in quitting.

Which, ironically enough, was due to intravenous cocaine and how I almost killed myself and wound up needing 3 heart surgery and a pacemaker.

One night I banged, dunked spoon, dropped a rock for next, then got distracted. Dropped another, 20 pulled 85, you know the drill. OUT! Couldn't run,or fuck past elderly intensity, for over a year without wicked chest pains. I quit for a whole week lol.
That's how I want to go, 4sure.

Real question is what was the true motivation behind the policy to begin with? I think many will agree that it always was a political game. They know they won't ever stop people using drugs. But this "war" is too politically useful and makes too much money for lobbies, who in turn fund political campaigns, for the state to admit the truth.
It's crystal clear that war on drugs is in fact a war on people, a class war essentially with racial overtones - as admitted by a prominent member of the Nixon administration years later

"You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin. And then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities,"

Computer / Internet addiction!

OK seriously in terms of actual substances for me, probably caffeine and sugar. They fuck up my anxiety, sleep and mood patterns.

On paper it should be coke, but I've found I'm generally not suited to stimulants, both in terms of personality and brain wiring. Honestly what I've found most addictive is weed. I spent pretty much the whole of this quarantine just hitting carts 24/7, staying baked. I wouldn't say i was addicted, but i was dependent.

Tobacco. In terms of the ratio between craving, side effects vs benefits. If you take only the addiction, then for sure opioids but even with full tolerance to the euphoric effects they remain to be among the strongest anxiolytics (would say stronger than BZDs as for the same intensity, they make you sleepy) and emotional pain killers. Their withdrawal can mostly be avoided pharmaceutically though it's strangely well researched but barely used in everyday practice and no single doc I have talked to knew about.

Stimulants are easy for me, sleep two or three days, some more of lethargy and it's over. Benzos can get messy if used for too long, but little craving and too there're the gabapentinoids which help with w/d.

About craving, specially dissociatives. They aren't physically addicting and sometimes even have a nice afterglow so no come down but the cravings will never let you go again if you're susceptible to this sort of drug.

For an anti example I would say dopamine antagonists (antipsychotics). They are notorious for inducing anhedonia, dysphoria, lethargy together with nasty akathisia and that's exactly why psychiatrists embrace them. From time to time they create kind of dependency too in the sense of protracted anhedonia or increased risk for psychosis. Can trigger voice hearing in some which makes a pretty vicious circle ☠

Non-substance related, yeah computer/internet, particularly to the AD(H)D folks and probably stim users I guess as the constant information flow and interaction feeds your reward circuits with yummy dopamine. Dopaminergics intensify this and antagonists diminish it at the price of anhedonia..

You hit the nail on the head, I was diagnosed with ADHD last month, been given some methylphenidate but am reluctant to medicate as I plan to trip on shrooms soon.

I think some people if not many are completely oblivious as to how damaging computer/internet/mobile addiction can be. It's often overlooked as something irrelevant being a non substance.

Yeah, just look at the people in an average rush hour train for example... I am certainly affected, depending on mood sometimes I get really nervous/irritable/heavily bored if I have spare time and no access to multimedia. Can even increase anxiety.. 😐😐 Is more an issue of sobriety, maybe lack of dopamine but again stims can make it worse too.

Afaik MPH specially in low doses like 18mg XR shouldnt interfere too much with psychedelics. If you stay off it for maybe two days before tripping I wouldn't expect too much interaction. After all the party guys often mix speed with LSD etc.. This will change the experience but it doesn't inhibit it like SSRIs which are the bad guys here

Definitely meth or 4MMC.

I never just dose once haha, always an unplanned redose leading to the next... when you hit that bowl you'll be doing another one 5 minutes later cos the last one didn't hit the spot.

You never forget either of these, that's what makes them addictive.

I always forget benzos ;)

Klonopin maybe, it where the worst shit to get off anyway. If im drunk I always think amfetamin is a great idea..

but for me its easily cannabis is the most addictive shit.. If i just see it or even worse smell it i get crazy cravings. Even doh i know i will get extremely introverted and sometimes paranoid i smoke it and the day is fucked..
fells embarrassing to share this.
