☮ Social ☮ PD Social Tripping Thread: Euphoric Rambles for Swirling Souls

I'm gonna do a 40mg 2C-C+ 40-60mg MXE combo tonight, with some cannabis and wax thrown in if I'm needing an extra boost. I've been putting it off for a while as I hadn't found the right time... well, that time is tonight! Gonna start shortly after sundown. I also carved a pumpkin that has an angry "O" face, where I'm gonna put a bunch of the inside "guts" in front of it and coming out of it's mouth with a beer can or two toppled next to it. Should ward off the evil spirits while I try to get into touch with the benevolent ones upstairs :p

The 2C-C/MXE combo is one I couldn't find any existing trip reports about, so I'll likely write one up for once if it's as intense as I anticipate it to be.
 
Thanks! Even this 2mg test dose I took has me feeling quite nice. Gonna ramp it up to 20mg soon. I decided not to wait until after work because I want to write a report on this and include functional information by exploring it as an amphetamine (which it is), so I wanted to try it at a lower dose first, and see how it affects work and working out, and then ramp it up quite a bit later to see how it is with chillin' and playing music.

CG, 2C-E and MXE should combine beautifully, I have found MXE to combine quite well with the 2C-Xs. It does potentiate it but it also is a very comfortable potentiation.

EDIT: Whoa, this is crazy... it tastes sweet. At a festival recently, the lead guy in my friend's band was passing out fingerdips of some 2C-looking powder that his friend sold him as mescaline (for a ton of money). I tried it before realizing what he was trying to give me, and it tasted sweet so I thought he got ripped off with some artificial sweetener or something. But now that I have tasted 18mg of 3C-E, it has the exact same taste. I think I have had 3C-E before, but I was too whacked on empathogens and psychedelics to tell the difference it made so I assumed it was bunk. Haha, mystery (probably) solved.

Yeah it sucked getting rid of the old collection, especially since I was forced into it. In that one though I had like 100-250mg of everything for the most part, now I've got at least a gram of almost everything and in some cases a lot more than that. Plus just a wider variety of stuff. The only thing that really bums me out is that I had some DOM and a variety of 2C-Xs in the old collection that I wish I still had. Oh well.

You guys got any plans for Halloween tonight? My main event plans happened Saturday, but I think tonight I'm going to try my 3C-E, which I got quite recently. Unlike 3C-P, the reports sound quite promising, what little there are. As I understand it, it's a euphoric, visual amphetamine that doesn't last an insanely long time. Gonna give some to my friend too and we're gonna play music.

Oh yeah, that is quite an improvement then! Your current stash should last you quite a while assuming that nothing else happens to it again. :) That is definitely a bummer about the DOM and the 2Cs though, I would certainly be feeling that sting as well....

I felt an urge to trip earlier today, but I decided against it. I've been tripping more often now than I had in some time, even before my long break this year, and I've noticed that I'm starting to get a little compulsive with it, like I'm finding myself thinking "Oh I should take <X> now just to have some fun." even though I tripped like two or three days before, and this time in particular I had even those two days ago decided to take a couple weeks off because my last couple rebound headaches were worse than they normally are. So, I'm forcing myself to skip today and have some self-control.... Should be a fun and chill holiday though anyway, and I'll definitely be smoking quite a lot. ;)

I am certainly looking forward to what you'll have to say about the 3C-E, though!

Yeah my stash will last a very long time this time, I have been keeping it in bags and jars but I just ordered a bunch of ember vials today, and I'm going to use an old pains box I have as a storage box... I'll keep the tryptamines in the freezer and the rest in my closet.

This 3C-E is awfully nice so far, it's like night and day over 3C-P. I found 3C-P very heavy, it gave me a splitting headache, truly horrible, and felt kind of nasty. It also felt psychedelic. This one feels like an amphetamine, it's sparkly and clean so far, and quite euphoric.

I think today will be a sober day, or possibly some alcohol when hanging out with a friend later. I ended up insufflating 25mg of DPT last night and watching Baraka, which really threw my brain for a loop. It's time for integration. These past two DPT experiences are going to require more integration than I've ever had to do before. I realized that what makes DPT scary is that it takes everything from you. It takes away any and all sources of comfort leaving you bare and forced to look at the illusions you perceive as real. Baraka was quite some experience on it, not something I'd repeat. DPT is definitely not something for movie watching, that's for damn sure.

But yea, I'm just stripped absolutely bare right now. A total clean slate. I drew Tarot again last night, I've been treating the restored Marseilles deck with utmost respect and limiting it's use to times when everything lines up and I know it's right to call on it, and it gave much needed guidance on my path from here forward. There will be much self-discipline and self-denial moving forward. I am to break away from the tendrils of external influence in every way I can summon my will to. Reprogramming my brain in this time of great nothingness to a tool that will help me instead of hinder. It's a powerful time indeed.
 
Perpetualdawn, I feel you on the notion that you mentioned about this time of year and the spirit realm, I always find myself taking a dissociative plunge during the harvest/Halloween weeekend the last 5 years or so, and this cycle was very much a reawakening of consciousness again, as it seems to align through the last few years. It is significant, the pattern. As for nicotine, I roll my own, 'American Spirit' brand, and it is is so potent that a pouch of the red organic lasts me weeks. I roll a small pinned with a filter and take a couple hits and *bam*, I get the wake up I seek from it.
 
Trippy you mentioned the restored Marseilles deck psy. I learned about that deck just the other day after discovering it via Jodorowsky. I'd like to buy a copy of that deck. I already have a similar marseilles deck, but the restored one really seems much better, the most legit deck out there afaik.

I found a pdf of his book about the Tarot, and have been finding it a fascinating read, have you checked that out? I'll probably get a real copy of that too. It has a very structured framework to how all the cards relate. It's the kind of insight on Tarot I've been searching for since I first discovered it over 20 years ago, and always been disappointed to not have found. Amazing to find it now.
 
Boy this 3C-E is nicer than I thought it would be. Quite gentle, it's basically a slightly psychedelic, euphoric stimulant that isn't really very peripherally stimulating, more just in a mental sense. At least at the 20mg level, I have heard that real visuals emerge at higher dosages and hopefully I will find out about that tonight. At this level there is a slightly psychedelic feeling in the body that is entirely unthreatening, just light and lovely. I have had a slightly sour stomach but no nausea.

I'm not a dissociative guy, but I can totally see that.

Speaking of connecting the spirit and physical world, I understand that tobacco was/is very important to a lot of American first nations, and that in many of these cultures it represented a means of connecting the spirit world to the earthly world - the smoke rises to the sky, the realm of the spirits, connecting our plane with the spirit plane. I reckon that's a bit of a simplification/caricature as (we) colonists have rarely understood these cultures correctly, but maybe something along those lines.

Yeah I have been really, really surprised at the level of quality from this Chinese guy with prices so absurdly low it seems impossible he could actually have anything of quality. But so far everything has been top-notch. I have escaline to try from him too, which 3C-E is the amphetamine version of.

I am really wishing I had jumped on it earlier though because I missed out on TMA-2, TMA-6, allylescaline, methylallylescaline, PiPT and MEM for equally absurdly cheap.

I would highly recommend it, dawn. As far as I can tell it's the best one as well, the work Jodorowsky and Camoin went to during restoration is mind boggling. I also have the book, yes. I'm not so far into it, I think I've only just gotten past the introductions and all and into analyzing the deck as a whole, but it's great so far. Jodorowsky is truly one of the greats of our times, yet seemingly unknown outside of the art world.
 
Agreed re Jodorowsky. I first heard of him via the documentary "Jodorowsky's Dune", which I hope everyone sees. He's an inspiring artist to say the least. Really looking forward to checking out some of his graphic novels with moebius, and some more of his writing. He's a madman in the best way.
 
Most definitely. Have you seen The Holy Mountain? I'd almost go so far as to say it's my favorite film ever. But that's a damn rough spot to take so it's arguable. I have The Metabarons, and The Incal on the way. Non-graphic works, I have Where The Bird Sings Best, The Spiritual Journey of Alejandro Jodorowsky, and Psychomagic. Well and The Way of Tarot as mentioned previously. If you haven't read The Spiritual Journey it's damn good. Full of wisdom but also absolutely spellbinding. He's lived a fantastic and magical life.
 
Awesome, I'll check The Spiritual Jourmey out! Still haven't seen the Holy Mountain, but seen bits and pieces from it for ages, since before I knew anything about J. Really want to check that out too. Haven't delved into the Incal or any of his other graphic novels, but I really like Moebius' style and look forward to it as well.
 
Yes, Holy Mountain of those few pieces of art that really excelled in trascribing the lessons of psychedelics into film media, and it still stands strong for it today.
 
I just ordered a large set of amber vials to store my collection in. Up until this point I have been using bags inside jars, I figure it's about time I went the extra step and made it presentable and organized. =D
 
Right on Xork, I've been putting mine in vials for about two years now and have no regrets. Plus, it looks real dope %)
