Continued from here

Really reminds me I should get brewing with the 25kg sack of malt I have at my folks plus the brand new 7 gallon catering can to boil it on my brand new uber catering gas burner which I bought about 6 months ago (already had a makeshift mash tun for a few years and used to do all grain brews on an old primus stove [made by optimus - we called it optimus primus :p ] in a shitty pan that didn't fit on the stove properly because it came out of a skip and took for ever to boil. But now all I'm missing in my basement flat is a shed / garage or outdoor space to boil up in, no chance of doing it indoors without stinking the whole place up and the stream causing damp like no other. But anyway, this probably belongs in the home brew thread.

I'm too lazy to keep on brewing my own, last batch I made was a stout and I fucked it up, it was absolutely disgusting, wasted cash and time, haven't attempted since. However my previous trials were successful, made a lager and a pilsner, both were good.

Drinking a bottle of Beavertown's Black Betty black IPA 7.4%, while splashing about in a mega huge bath in a v posh and v free hotel suite. First time i've tried it & it's gorgeous.

Next up will be a bottle of Brooklyn's IPA I've not yet had the pleasure of before either.

love black IPAs, wish I was there with you :D

Drinking whiskey and coke. Is an oddly relaxing kind of drunk, we've maybe gone through a quarter of the bottle between two of us and just been having a nice evening talking and watching TV. If we were on the vodka or cheap shit we'd be plastered and falling over by now. Is nice and means we'll probably have some left for the weekend.

Though the weekend is 50p shots down at the local :sus:

You deserve it marmz, enjoy every second :)

Im drinking sloe gin and tonic, its delicious.

Not sure whether to have a bottle of wine or try etizolam for the first time. What do you reckon?

I'd go for Etizolam personally, if only for the lack of hangover

edit: no, go for the wine then use the Etiz for the hangover :D

Yeah, I mean if you're not big on benzos usually I'd go for 1-2mg of Etizolam for a hangover, but it does work, especially if your hangovers are mostly marked by anxiety, shakes, and generally feeling shit and like you've done something horribly wrong but you don't know what.

That's good to know, thanks. My hangovers usually consist of a blinding headache over one eye. Would a benzo be any good for that?

I guess in a small way. Wouldn't cure it but would definitely make you feel better about having it :D But yeah, give it a go. I wouldn't do it the other way round ie: Taking etiz then drinking wine the next day, as in my experience it just makes me black out and all that from a couple cans due to the half life of the etiz, but the other way round works fine as long as you're not still pissed and don't overdo it.

Thanks Snolls!

No problemo <3

I am power drinking the whiskey and cokes now after a student finance revelation. Send something recorded delivery, for once, and of course it doesn't arrive. Cunnnnnnnts

£2 i'm loving the Goji Berry one

Beer Leo.

The Government raised the taxes on beer the other week. Everywhere is either raised the price or out of stock (not sure why they have no stock tbh!) so now a bottle of beer is 20-40p more expensive (£1.90-£2 for a 600ml bottle).

My local bar went up 20p last week then another 20p this week. Quite a big jump really.

Thankfully spirits haven't been touched so it's still £6 for a bottle of Thai rum or whisky in a bar. :)

Makes it a bit too easy to be a whisky / rum swigging jakey really when £6 gets you a full bottle and ice and mixers for a night are less than a quid. :/

grape juice thats a bit fermented (self extracted from my garden vine). would take 2L to actually get a buzz. but its autumn and i have time
