Snorting Heroin #3

Correct me if I'm wrong, but #3 (I'm in the UK) is snortable right?

I've heard people say only snort a match head size amount, this is regarding #4.

Do I snort more/less of #3, if so how much?

Also how long does it take for it to kick in and when does it peak?

Before anyone says "Just smoke it/IV it!", I normally do smoke it but sometimes I can't smoke it (Aluminium foil makes a very distinctive noise!) and I don't do needles! :\
 
I always wondered if uk heroin, not being a salt and therefore not water soluble, would not take to snorting as well as #4. Wouldn't it be a bit like sorting crack? I have tried snorting but only did a small amount and was smoking before and after so was difficult to really tell. In the end I'd rather just stick to an efficient method.

Why does it matter about the foil making a noise? Are you with your parents cause if so, there is always a way of getting around it and being quiet enough.
 
If I am not wrong they use acid, like lemon juice or packaged citric acid.
 
Its just not in the UK some heroin in the states also require a acidic solution to break it down, granted this isnt as common as the heroin thats generally available for 'sniff/shoot and go' but its still out there.

I went to London with my friend and his father on a business trip....we bought some heroin from a hobo at the train station. It was the best heroin I've ever had. We just snorted it like normal american powder....it was superb.
 
Im in the UK and addicted to H, i smoke it but my tolerance has gotten to a point where smoking really takes the piss to get any effect about an hour of smoking or so and it becomes tiresome when ya talking every few hours.

So ive been looking for other ways to take it, now i didnt think you could snort our heroin and in theory you shouldnt be able to as it isnt very water soluable, it needs to be disolved in citric acid and water to break it down as its a base form, like how crack is to cocaine.

But when i asked a friend of mine how he smokes it to see if i could get a method for smoking larger amounts faster he told me he didnt he snorted it!

So yeah it can be done, im still not sure wether it is the best use as like i say i dont think its very water soluable however it must be partially if it has a strong enough effect to make him sick.

He doesnt disolve it or anything, just takes tiny lines fairly often till hes where he wants to be, make sure you do have extremly small lines, smoking is nearly impossible to OD doing but snorting isnt, so go with little lines and often.

If you want to try disolving ya gear 1st to make sure you get the best from it ( i dont know if this is required however) but put a bit in a spoon, add a drop of lemon juice and then add some water, heat the mixture up with a lighter till it starts to bubble, this then should get the gear disolved in the water and you can then snort the water. If you want to filter out any nasties from it, pop in a ball of cotton wool it will soak up all the water, then with a syringe or pipet or something draw the liquid out of the cotton wool then put ya head back over the side of ya bed or something, and squirt the liquid up your nose.

I have tried both methods, both had a slight effect but i got bored and went back to smoking as found it did hit me ok after all. But just with a little powder have a small line and a few minutes later you start to feel the warmth come on, wait 15-20 minutes inbetween lines if your new to the drug to make sure you dont over do it.

Despite popular belief our heroin isnt piss weak compared to number with purity ranging from 2-90% with the average being about 47%. The gear is usualy cut 1/2 with caffeine to make smoking it more efficent. As it has a low melting point. But the US no4 gear also has a very variable range of quality like ours, and just because it is more water soluable doesnt make it any purer.

However their stuff is heroin made how its suppose to be, the no3 is a pretty crude form, but its still heroin but also has been known as morphine base in the past. The high is not as smooth as a no4 high and is like a morphine rush, with the pins and needles type feeling.

Almost all the brownish heroin here in sweden you need to add acid* to dissolve .

It's not that, it's the fact that sometimes when I'm doing it at night people are still awake upstairs and I'd like to be able to snort it since it's silent.
 
foil isn't that loud if you're smart with it. You could always make some sort of stand so you dont even have to touch or move the foil...although to get the best out of your gear, you need to be holding the foil and have it angled, and running the bead back and forth,, blah blah blah.

I found snorting liquid, i use tar, to be a waste. I remember shooting 2 balloons worth up my nose with a syringe to be an utter waste.....you could always try squirting it up your butt...i hate that feeling though....
seriously, i would rather just IV, but lately have made the choice to abstain from needles, and it's costing me more money.. bleh
 
Nice post Degansta but the lemon juice thing is a real no-no as it can contain a bacteria that coule leave you blind when iv'ed. The gear I was getting in central london certainly seemed to be VERY potent and now I'm in a smaller town I can tell there is generally more cut. Not ALWAYS but overall a definite increase. I think where there is such a huge demand there is just no point in cutting the stuff and more people do it purely to make money. They don't use so don't fuck around with the amounts and cuts. Here I've found more users who're dealers so may be tempted to keep more back for themselves or basically get greedy.

Who knows but either way I loved the ease and quality that London supplied.

Sure you can insufflate it but if you want to do so in the most efficient manner possible then you will need to break it down with a citric acid catalyst. As someone has already said, using actual citrus fruit juice is a good way to catch a nasty infec tion. I understand that some harm reduction sites in the UK provide a little packet of citric acid in powder form to get around it.

Just as a personal note, if I found myself in that situation I would plug it after cooking it, as someone else said,"most bang for your buck."
 
I have only ever storted the gear I have scored in London. But I also use an Otrivine (Xylometazoline Hydro) nasal spray before and after I snort the line of brown. It clears the nasal passages and in my not very scientific or controlled test seems to quicken the onset of the high. I look forward to the few squirts of the spray more that the line of brown. Almost straight after I get those levelly warm feelings!! i'm guessing that the acid in the spray breaks it down in the nose? But it works!! Without it the onset is much slower and less intense. Can someone else please try this and report back ?

I remember the first time I scored some heroin I was in a foreign (to me) German city and was trying to get some pills and had stumbled across the local junkly hang out. I kept asking for E's and being told that they only had heroin. In the end I got some from nice looking young turkish girl.
I got back to my hotel and unwrapped the two small bags. It was then that I realised that I didn't have a clue how to take heroin so I decided to snort it. I started out small and liked the effects, I liked the feeling it was more of a high that a down, not what I imagined it to be. I was unable to sleep for the first night, agin not what I imagined. The next day I decided that I was using way too little to get the falling asleep stoned feeling that you see on TV. So I did the rest of the gear in a large coke sized line!!! Fuck!!! What a mistake!! I was violently sick all night. Every time I moved my head I was sick, Every time I drank I was sick, Every time I Lay down I was sick!!! What a nightmare. But I learned my lesson!!
