Yep it does help to have a little aid with # 3 although the pH in your mucous membranes adjusts it somewhat.
I too have gotten deathly sick from insufflating heroin. It is a non-lethal o.d. and I am glad that I have only done 1 bag, had it been my usual 5 or 6 [at the time] I would undoubtedly not be here.
