Has anyone heard of zx-1 or Win GT rc's? I think they may be in the same catagory as jwh but I'm not positive. Also ran across rcs 4. Not too sure about that, and I'm having a hard time tracking down information. I'm sure the chemical names are different, but I can't track down what they are. Not even the brand names.

The RCS, I believe are a brand name thing. The letters are initials...and because I don't want to break any rules I won't say what they are the initials too. Anyway

The WIN probably comes from the Sterling Winthrop pharmacieutical company that produced and developed the WIN cannabinoids among lots of other things.

The RCS-4 is 4-(methoxyphenyl)(1-pentyl-1h-indol-3-yl)methanone.

Apparently the Zx-1 (also NRG-1, naphyrone)is Napthylpyrovalerone and is a sertonin, norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor.
I bet whoever is selling this stuff isn't telling people on anti-depressants not to take this.

I phoned [reputable supplier], and explained that I required MDPV for my research, but had noted that it was no longer available from said supplier. I explained that I had heard that ZX-1 is infact MDPV and that they had simply "branded" it. The woman on the phone told me that I had heard correctly, and that this is the exact same chemical.

I will report back when my shipment arrives later this week.

I've read a couple of times in the last week or so that ZX-1 is MDPV. This was claimed to be mentioned to the poster in an e-mail from the vendor.

There is no way to be sure at this point. One thing I noticed however was the matching molar masses:

Naphyrone - Mol. mass: 281.391 g/mol

Methylenedioxypyrovalerone - Mol. mass: 275.35 g/mol

ZX-1 [on vendor's site] - Mol. mass 275.35 g/mol

ZX-1 is supposed to be peevee hcl. They just re-named it to avoid issues. They've got the molecular weight wrong because they just looked it up on wikipedia or something. Peevee hcl is actually 311.??g/mol and peevee freebase is 273.35g/mol. If you order ZX-1, it will most likely be a tan coloured mdpv hcl.

I can officially confirm that ZX-1 is MDPV. It is not labeled as being HCl, though it could be assumed that it's being so is a given. It is a gray-tan powder with a flour like clumping tendency. The odor is very light, so it does not seem to be (heavily) contaminated as has been reported in samples from other producers.

I can also confirm that ZX-1 is the rotten hedonistic bastard-child of Satan and do not recommend anyone use it for any research unless they have an entire day after said research to sleep, and ideally something to keep them asleep through most of that day. I found 1mg to be well active, and approximately 15mg consumed over 16 hours in various forms produced a worse day-after than the most terrible e crash of my life, with elements of benzo and opiate withdrawal on the side, to make it that much more wonderful. Or, at least, thats what the 3mg "ZX" freebase hit and few lines of coke I woke up to reduced the hangover to. Christ!! Part of my brain is definitely begging for a re-dose 7 hours later, but with the hangover just beginning to lighten up, I'm going to make the wiser choice and get drunk off my ass instead. I had a great time with my research, but will flush it if I find myself craving it after today.

Edit: Just a follow up, even getting drunk didn't ward off the persistent insomnia or craving to do more. I'm now high once again, and will be disposing of this substance. Stay far away, even if you don't normally have trouble resisting drugs (like myself).
