Zopiclone?

Could anyone give me more info right now on the psychedelic effects of Zopiclone on them? I dont know if I should post it here as its not exactly a psychedelic, for me and aparently many others it is definatley 'psychedelic' although without the headspace. I am on 7.5mg's just now and definatley enjoyed it so far, anyone else got any experience with this?

I've munched them before when I was prescribed. Upped the dose gradually, just to see if there's any recreational value. Ended up waking up in A&E because I cracked my head open. Stupid me. It's not really psychedelic although in darkness the shadows can start doing things, and it's not really that fun ime. Don't push your luck, please be careful.

I can't remember the visual effects that well, partly because the drug muddies your memory, mostly because they just weren't that interesting.

Zopiclone (as well as zolpidem) puts me in a really irresponsible manic state with severe blackouts. I've had some minor visual distortions and auditory hallucinations but usually I just couldn't remember shit afterwards and felt like a total jackass. Worse than benzos/alcohol combo.

Taking ½-1 zopiclone tablets during a 4-HO-MET trip boosted the visuals to a whole new level though which was pretty interesting.

I wouldn't recommend recreational use or exploration of Z-drug use without a sitter because if the effects increase so does the state shift towards a deleriant or amnestic-dissociative side. The best analogy I have for the effects of Z-drugs is a middle territory between being awake and dreaming (lucid or no) and sleepwalking. The sleepwalking part is what makes it quite dangerous and it is too unpredictable to try and explore that on your own IMO.

Well I took 15mg total on my own and 7.5mg with fiancee, on 15mg I saw a extra terestrial being with a gas mask on signalling shh were bob marleys head should be on a poster in the dark. I got some other interesting visual halucinations including a crocodile were coats were and intense OEV's covering my walls forming lava and tentacles. I have heard negative things from it but I quite like it, I can see how it could put people in a bad way, the biggest thing for me was it just seemed to make me want to get as fucked up as possible.

On 7.5mg's I got extremely pleasent CEV flashes including an intricate picture of the sea with seagulls flying over it that lasted around 3 - 4 seconds. Not much else in term of visuals apart from maybe being on a just above threshold dose of something that is unlike a phen or trypt. The OEV's in the dark were fascinating and instead of going to sleep I ended up staying up till 6 in the morning, the more tired I got, Halucinating more. I mixed them with cannabis on both occurences.

Have to say no visuals really apart from when in the darkness I was hoping I would be one of the people that got intense halucinations even with the lights on and at low doses. I would say 3.25 - 7.5 mg's would be a good dose to chill and anywere plus you might get out of hand. The good thing was I only had two pills at hand when I was alone so I couldnt re-dose by mistake. Overall, very enoyable substance, my fiancee has 6 7.5mg pills left and I cannot wait to try them out again in a month or two. I enjoyed the sedation with the visual element as I hate the body load with psychedelics.

i think you're thinking of zolpidem which some people claim to have had psychadelic experiences with, howver i have never heard of anyone reporting a psychadelic experience on zopiclone..;;

I hallucinated on Zopiclone (defiitely not Zolpidem) regularly in the 15mg-22.5mg dosage range. Many moons ago i might add. It was quite a pleasant experience actually. I was prescribed it for insomnia but it actually didn't help at all. Definitely something to be careful with.


I might be wrong on the dosage but i took 3 a few times and am pretty sure they were 7.5mg tabs.

Definatley interesting stuff and no, its definatley zopiclone. Would anyone know if there would be any adverse reactions to combining with certain types of psychedelics as the visual element from both substances plus the sleepy relaxedness would prove for a good trip I think. Although it might get far too much maybe... probably could become very delerious.

^I dunno about zopicloine but if you check out the thread's I've created you'll find my account of my experience(s) with zaleplon. From which I came to the conclusion (in spite of it's different structure from the other rx z drugs which likewise differ from one another) that GABAergic hallucinogens are horribly underrated and unexplored.

If you read my account, tell me what you think of it, and if you like, I can merge this with my z-drug thread in this subforum (if you think it would serve the cause). Really wish I'd come upon the opportunity to partake in sonata once again though.

I find zopiclone, in low doses which is all i've tried (7.5-10mg), just makes me feel kinda a bit out of it, almost similar to slightly drunk, and when you walk around you feel like your sense of balance has kinda diminished. Not much recreational value, have just noticed this when i pop one before bed, then go and have a smoke or something, walking out of my house I noticed my sense of balance was kinda weird, it was slightly enjoyable i guess. Felt sort of "light".

Everyone has different effects but for me I would really call them psychedelic, the first few times i tried them things moved around about, like words on a computer screen etc but nothing really interesting. And like others have said be very careful when taking large amounts, ESPECIALLY if you have other drugs/alcohol around. Because no matter how smart you think you are about drugs once your under the influence of a high dose your judgment is gone. Its very easy to decide in that fucked up state your gonna mix in some alcohol or decide to swallow ten more of them. And if that happens shit usually gets pretty fucked up lol. Im incredibly lucky to be alive/not locked up in a cell from the last time I made that mistake.

Not sure I agree with that but if we keep making decisions to go back and forth with this it is very confusing.
