Misc Zopiclone/Zolpidem

Having tried zopiclone a lot, I am curious as to how it compares to it's fellow 'Z- drug', zolpidem (Ambien yes?)

Seems very popular with the American fellows on this site and others but I've never heard of it being available in the UK; perhaps prescription-only, but certainly not available to me.

Does it have the same horrible metallic taste? I've heard of chaps railing Ambien on here but if I tried that with zopiclone it would dissolve my brain. Would sniffing zop's work?

Im aware they're both dreamy-sleepy-nighty-snoozy-snooze drugs similar to benzos but that's it really.

Zolpidem is available on prescription in UK, but zopiclone tends to be prescribed more, for some reason.
It doesn't have the horrible taste of zopiclone.
I think sniffing zolpidem does work, but probably better just to take it orally...
 
I have railed lunesta before, and it wasn't bad at all. For sleep, I prefer it much over ambien (ambien did nothing to help me sleep). With lunesta I was sleeping in about a half-hour and I woke up 8 hours later in the morning feeling very refreshed like I just had the best night of sleep in my life, which I haven't felt in years.

Zolpidem wears off very quickly. Despite the metalical taste, I would stick to the zopicline if I wanted a night's sleep.
 
^that is why ambien comes in CR, but it doesnt sound like he wants it for a full night's rest anyways.

i recently got a script of ambien for studying abroad. i have not tried to abuse it, beyond staying up a little bit after taking it. it feels a lot like a benzo, but i imagine it is far less recreational. i've never tried lunesta.

benzos are really best to relieve stress, anger, anxiety, whatever, but if you take them while drinking, they qualify as extremely recreational, maybe even euphoric, in my book. from my little time spent awake on these guy, i cannot imagine they would give you that feeling. it makes sleeping fucking awesome though--like a magic blanket for your mind.
 
isn't zolpidem water soluble????Maybe Ill get some....also do zopiclone and zolpidem help benzo w/d's?
 
I've been prescribed zopiclone, when my tolerance went up (happens quickly with all these 'Z' drugs, I asked for zolpidem. No way. They just won't prescribe it in the UK under normal circumstances. Had it from online pharmacies tho, its definitely more benzo-like than zopiclone & works better taken with other benzo's than zopiclone does, and its effects are more enjoyable imo

Tolerance rockets with it tho unfortunately.

Isn't it easier to get Valium than z-drugs in Canada? In an emergency, Zs can provide some relief from benzo withdrawals.
 
^Z drugs (zolpidem, zopiclone) work very similar to benzos. they were developed from benzos. they hit the GABA-A receptor like benzos

they have some difference in their mechanism of action. if you try using a Z drug to keep out of withdrawal, you'll be feeling really odd, but you won't be having seizures or psychotic breaks if you find a good equivalent dose (don't go too high either... they can be rather disorienting. they are more hypnotic/sleep inducing than benzos and can effect cognition more... hence their ability to produce hallucinations if you have low tolerance to Z drugs)

ive used zolpidem to keep out of benzo wd when i ran out early. it still sucks ass totally. but it's better than nothing

just a warning, when i used zolpidem/zopiclone to stay out of kpin w/d, idk if it was kpin w/d or the z drugs or both but i was slurring my speech. i hated that effect and you may appear drunk/disoriented. and i didn't take more than 2 tablets at a time. (despite appearing drunk, i was still in w/d... wd itself will effect cognition and disorientation just as bad as being on benzos)
