Was it 5mg or 10mg Sonata? Did they come as capsules with powder inside? That's how they were in Canada, during the 3 year or so they were available, bastards removed em. What you call Lunesta is unique to the US, cos it's only one isomer of zopiclone which is Imovane here. Yeah Imovane made me sleep well but that OUT OF THIS WORLD METALLIC TASTE, that I would even wake up feeling like I sweated it out of my body. And they were the 7.5mg only, not the 15. So yeah, apparently one isomer of zopiclone is useless because you guys got eszopiclone (Lunesta). I'd try it if I could, just to see if there is a difference, if the pills themselves have that ungodly taste etc.
And well now, Halcion, last year was the last year a large generic company, the only one who still did make it, Apotex, they had their Apo-Triazo 0.125mg and 0.25mg removed. It's in my province's monthly pdf of available meds and their prices since last september. Yet one generic company I never heard of makes 0.25mg pills, still, A&A Pharms, no idea what province still allows it. But I'm glad I was given a small handful of (maybe 6) 0.25mg Halcions, they were perfect and kinda euphoric like I found Zaleplon to be. By the way, the zaleplon powder in the caps was water soluble. I remember eating one then getting curious...what if...I open the tiny 5mg yellow gelcap, drop the powder on a cd case, snort the tiny line. 8( It was like a very euphoric lsd trip + nitrous + well the benzo effect, because as I lay on my bed in my dorm room (hooray for single dorm rooms) fell asleep with the light still open, it would make a kind of yellow glow that was euphoric to stare at (the light bulb) then, lights out. Perfect for those having trouble falling asleep, not those who wake up through the night. Like Halcion, Halcion's effects are gone in not even 2 hours and it has a crappy oral BA of 52%. At the time I was given some Halcion, it was during the time I had convinced
my then GP (who retired on me without warning and now am in a bit of trouble) to give me a script for 600mg Tagamet horsepills, I knew there was 800mg ones but I didn't push my luck. And he had no issue scripting it to me. So every benzo or opiate that's affected by tagamet, for 12 months they were boosted, no idea if it boost Halcion's BA.
Oh well, goodbye Halcion, there is stuff that came up just in time to replace you online
quick version : I verified, US Sonatas are gelcaps (is there generics now?, I'm not even sure if you have Ambien generics yet and it's getting quite old of a drug now). Snorting zaleplon was where it shined.
