Zopiclone through the US

Hi

I'm currently in Colombia and going home back to the UK tomorrow. I stocked up on zopiclone, which is prescription free here. It's also about £3/box so I went a bit crazy as I thought at first it was prescription free in the US, which I've misread. It's schedule IV.

I'm connecting thru a US airport. I've looked at posting it but fedex wants about $150/package.

How stupid would I be to take this thru a US airport and customs? I'll only be there for a 4 hour layover but still have to go through customs.

You would be really rather stupid to do so. US Customs are notoriously strict and I really can't see it ending well. That aside, it's also illegal and as such we can't say anything other than not to do it.
