copped a few of these off a girl i knew. they seem alright. ive recently become interested in pharmacuticals. does anyone else have experiances with zopiclone they would like to share. im in canada so its imovane. i think lunesta for the most of you
 
Very similar to Stilnox (Ambien). It's a Z-drug and for most people is not recreational (me included). Imovane gives me a wierd metalic taste in my mouth so I have never used it, despite having ready access. If I need to sleep and I have to use drugs, I'll use temazepam if I have to be up early or nitrazepam if I can sleep in (not often)
 
IME as with all benzo's, they're all gone in the morning with no recollection of the previous night (I assume they give me some kind of euphoria, i'll never know for sure though). Be careful.
 
Oh yuck Lunesta. I had the worst Metallic taste in my mouth all night, and couldn't sleep from it either.
 
Yeah gives you a nasty taste for 8+ hours but Ive takin it in small and large doses (happen to be on 7.5 right now) and had extremely recreational effects. If you like to stubble around feel giddy with euphoria and halucinate from time to time. Seriously its a bigggg hit or miss. I have been taking my benzo scripts recently and I think when I take any Z sleeping aid it cancles out the effects cause of the benxos.
 
When I first started seeing my Suboxone dr he would give me samples of 3mg lunestas. I liked them, they felt pretty much like benzo's but a little bit trippy. There deff was some euphoria.
Like others have said, they give you a gross metallic taste in your mouth but you get used to it.
Sadly he stopped giving them to me. :(
 
I took this drug for the second time in my life last week & what people say about the wretched taste is true. It surges back with every sip of water for a day or so.

However...

If you're looking for a sleep aid, if you really just need to sleep (I was taking a hit in buprenporphine dose &it'd been a few days of "oh the sun's up again") it does the fucking trick. I slept for 14 hours & needed a nap after class.

Felt fantastic having gotten the sleep so dearly needed, but that taste...

I'm not about to jump through any hoops for the stuff. I'm sure it's got some recreational value, like the other z-drugs/hypnotics, but that's hyper-subjective.

Most people don't care much for these
 
Hi bluelighters! First post! Thanks for such a great forum!

I got 30 of these (Zopiclone Actavis) yesterday. I got them for my insomnia, but was ofc excited over the hallucination-part. I believe I only took one at first, and a couple later. Good times..can't remember it, but I woke up from sleeping for the first time in weeks.

I got up and found out I had taken 26 of the pills! Scary shit! I thought I already was dead. In my living room I found traces of crushed up pills, tobacco (I don't smoke..only MJ) and rollingpapers. I believe I tried to smoke Zopiclone with tobacco! I had also made a little house out cardboards for my cats. Painted blue, with windows and even a little balcony =D

Anyways.. I took my bicycle and cycled off to work..then I realized I still was tripping! Best workday ever! Everything was alive og moving in harmony. And the desktop was filled with water that drained back and forth.

I had the hit-or miss response, and then I smoked an Ambien CR (crushed) and it was more instantaneous than salvia, someone had to catch the pipe I was using and I was tripiing the fuck out for well over an hour in a way that no other hallucinogen does.
 
So it is actually possible to smoke pharms? I was worried smoking them is a waste. Snorting them isn't good I guess? Anyhow; I will not smoke, snort or mix them in hot chocolate again. They are made for ingestetion, and therefore I believe there are other substances sealing up the drugs so that the drugs gets released in the right place in the body.

(please excuse my "english" - I'm norwegian :\ )

It is possible, but very unhealthy and pretty much a waste. I think the only reason people smoke pills is because of the act of smoking itself. Too bad most of them also waste most of their drugs.
 
Yeah.. I was out of MJ and wanted to smoke something. So you're right. It was the smoking itself that made me do it.

Just got this prescribed today as a replacement for Stilnox/Ambien. Will give it a go when my Ambien runs out in a couple of days.
 
I tried zopiclone a few times years ago. I got the nasty metallic taste too, and it lasted about 24h after taking the drug. When taken on a completely empty stomach the zopiclone caused some euphoria that lasted for about half an hour, but if taken after a meal I didn't get even that... When the euphoria is over, there seemed to be a compulsive urge to redose to get more buzz, but it doesn't work. You just end up waking the next morning with no memory of the night because of the amnesic effect...
 
I found this definitely helped me sleep but also gave me the typical awful metallic taste. Bit disappointed because my Dr. said only 1/3rd of people get the metallic taste side effect. Judging by the posts in this thread, it's a lot higher than that. Probably typical pharmaceutical bullshit marketing.

Fuck it - I put up with the nasty taste of Suboxone in my mouth for years so this isn't going to kill me. Still, I've yet to notice any major difference in quality of sleep compared to Stilnox/Ambien so if these don't work any better, I may as well go back to that drug.

Just to do a quick straw poll:
1) did these pills give you the metallic taste side effect? yes/no
2) did the metallic taste side effect change or diminish over time if you took these multiple times? yes/no

No metallic taste for me, and I take one pill almost every night.

Zopiclones can be very interesting, my first time doing it i remember that awful taste-but its a taste that almost started to grow on me actually- and it felt like the force of gravity had doubled, was really neat.
If you do one and then a shot of dope too, you'll probably get about 10x as high as normal-and possibly wake up in your backyard a few hours later, if your like me.. The feeling of mixing the 2 is a lot like heroin+cyclobenzaprine, but more intense.

On a different occasion I decided to try to find out everything zopiclones have to offer-so me and a friend took two at once, and then parachuted two more about a half hour later.

Started to watch tropic thunder to kill time. About half way through the movie I attempted to get up out of my chair then realized i had absolutely no motor control, did a little sideways hobble/stagger then--Bam! Ate shit against my door.. woke up the next afternoon mid-conversation with the wall.

Pretty interesting stuff, but its probably worth noting that a few hours prior to all that I had taken 3 or 4 caps of ecstasy. Probably explains the whole talking to the wall situation..
