Misc Zopiclone for stimulant comedowns?

you're thinking of ZOLPIDEM that can give hallucinations... ZOPICLONE i have never heard of anyone getting hallucinations off it... i tried both, and zolpidem is definately better for sleeping...

Nah definitely was Zopiclone - 100%!!
 
as far as dosage goes, somebody expressed surprised at a 7.5mg dose, compared to the 2mg dose he received.

In most of the world, zopiclone is a generic drug consisting of both R and S stereoisomers.

In the united states Sepracor has a patent on the active S-isomer, called eszopiclone, sold as Lunesta, and no racemic generic is available (although supposedly that may change sometime this year)

A 7.5mg dose of the racemic drug is thus comparable to 3.75mg of the active isomer. 2mg eszopiclone could then be compared to 4mg of the racemic.
 
I used Zopiclone to sleep after MDMA and Phentermine a few times a while ago and never got any hallucinations, and have been perscribed it a couple of times for insomnia due to bad benzo withdrawals which was fine also (if anything not very helpful). Zolpidem on the other hand I only took to sleep a couple of times because all I did was not fall asleep and had small hallucinations.

I've often hear it said that Zopiclone doesn't give hallecegenic effect (I feel that it can) and that when used in larger doses from stimulsnt comedown can do the same, thus in the interests of harm reduction I personally would recommend it. This is no light matter, after a stim binge and taking large quantities of zopliclone many years ago I had a very intense hallucination which lasted over eight hours and me in a call...having called the police myself - I know it was Zop as I can't forget that metal taste!!
 
What Zopiclone gives is a funny deep rancid taste in your throat and then a good night's sleep.
 
It lasts all the next day with myself and it's my whole mouth that gets the "pleasure" of the horrible bitter taste :p
Nasty shite... If it wasn't for that I'd be quite fond of Zopiclone :\
 
haha, ye funny isn't it how the metallic taste (I wouldn't call it rancid I find it neutral and indeed a positive sign I will soon be sleeping!)) is directly correlated with the drug taking effect. I don;t find I get the taste the next day only the other day when I took and it and didn't. Otherwise I seem to sleep the taste off.

It's like as soon as I start tasting it in the back of my throat I start zoning out.

Didn't work for me the other day though when I was using it for legit (/non drug induced) reasons- when I couldn't sleep due to having to do something the next day.

I think most of my insomnia probs are due to anxiety. I took 1g of magnesium last night which offered very promising results so am gonna look into this one more for day to day and keep the zopi for comedowns.
 
This thread inspired me to try a pseudo speedball of methylphenidate/ambien. 40mgs of each was taken about 2 1/2 hours ago and its been pretty enjoyable. I ate the ambien and snorted the ritalin once it started to kick in. Intense OEVs of things melting and morphing and it looks as if everything is breathing. Also extreme pixelation of bright shades of white. The vividness of these visuals are likely magnified by the fact that Ive been up for well over 48hours on d-amp but enjoyable none the less
 
I feel downers always prevail over ritalin when taken ate the same time, and mixing is a waste of schedule 2 prescriptions, but have tried it only with benzos. Maybe the Zs could be more promising in matters of combination.

Definitely tripped on Zopiclone as previously stated, but was at a time I was doing MDMA maybe once a week or so - I failed to mention this before although I was definitely NOT under the ''immediate'' influence of any other substances (including MD)! Quite enjoyed it though, would even go so far to say that I would try again for this reason - the whole figuring out thing for : ''what is this that I am seeing'' was fun...that said the metallic/chemical taste isn't pleasant!
 
It's an old thread but hey, i'm not starting a new 1!

The WORST aspect of the zopiclone taste is that even water is ruined; i drink a glass of water every night in bed & with zopiclone it tasted like vinegar & sand!

Anybody know how this drug would be for a coke comedown? safe?
 
This is funny in regards the taste thing as I'm quite the opposite (and I'm usually 1st to complain about the negatives of a drug).

I find the taste even positive in a pavlovian sense in that as soon as I begin to taste that metallic taste it acts as a trigger to tell me I'm about to get to sleep.

Dunno bout coke but I've used it successfully for both 6-apb and meph but I'd presume it would be good for any stim comedown.
 
I personally love zopiclone for stimulant comedowns. I actually prefer it over a benzo (unless I'm still wanting to be awake) otherwise I love how it takes away the shitty side effects and makes me feel super comfy like a benzo does, and I fall asleep easily. Not a good idea to use it on a regular basis I hear though. I've never hallucinated on zopiclone, but I've never taken more than a couple pills. I don't think its something you would hallucinate on unless you were trying to by taking a lot of pills.

Annnndddd yesss... the taste you get in your mouth is pretty fucking gross. I noticed that brushing my tongue in the morning helped though lol.

Yeah, like a white fungus coating on the back of the tongue....halitosis hell an all:p

Anyone plugged zopiclone? Works well (specially when tolerance kicks in which it does very quickly with zop). Wierd thing is, even when plugged you still get that mettalic taste and tongue fungus....
 
^ Do you crush the pill and put it in a needle-less syringe with some warm water for plugging?
My doc told me to put half a pill under the tongue if tolerance occurs via oral route. Yeah sure.

Yep. They dissolve quite easily in warm water when crushed, try & get the bits of coating out first if you can, they don't dissolve very well. Probably harmless tho.
 
Thanks for the tip. I saw on a pharmacology site that the oral bio-availability of zopiclone is around 75%, though. So I don't know if it's really stronger/takes less of product via plugging.
