Benzos zopiclone for anxiety

I'm odd. Lyrica gave me anxiety.

Benzos are the only thing that work for me. Doctor said they were not addictive over 10 years ago. Now with MS I'll be taking them the rest of my life.
 
Be careful using Zopiclone. 8 years ago I started out dosing Zop 7.5mg prn insomnia. Take 40 minutes before laying down say around 10:00pmish n should have done wore off by 6:00am the following morning. Very addicting though. Went from those 7.5 Zop's, to 10mg Zopisigns, and there at the end I was taking 50-60mgs x twice daily to satisfy my addiction. Yes they now make 20mg, and 25mg tablets now. My favorite were the 10mg Zopisigns, which came in 14 ct blister strips, 20mg Zopimax, and 25mg Zopimaxx the 25mg Zopimaxx I was getting for .18 cents a pill, n which is grab a total of usually around 5,000 - 7,500mg every 3 to 4 weeks. Shipping was $20.00usd for up to 500pills n which I was grabbing Soma's n Modafinil's also. Very awesome vendor of over 8 years. Our usd in India are a lot of $.
But for real, Zop has a very steep n slippery slope, so be safe fella's!!!

Tbh... Gabapentinoids would be my rec, I'm an alcoholic for some odd reason.

Bro try real kava. Z drugs suck horribly. Even for that. I’ve never actually seen or heard of anyone taking them for anxiety specifically but I don’t know everything or everyone so I guess. Sure it can have a calming effect. Doesn’t mean it will.

They don’t work the same as benzos I don’t believe.

Gabapentin even is an idea for anxiety use. It does help with anxiety ime. Surly you can get that in the UK?

Kava depending on what kind and quality is very nice for anxiety and mood in general. Not something I’d take every day but people do. There’s risks with taking it every day like anything but that’s for chronic
Users really. And the liver toxicity is blown way out of proportion. They weren’t using the right parts of the plant which caused the liver issues.

I blacked out on zoplicone. Not to scare you but I blacked out on it and woke up in the hospital. Apparently I went and got fentanyl and ODd while blacked out. True story. I don’t even like fentanyl. I don’t take it usually. Haven’t in years.

My girl found me. So yeah I really think they are terrible drugs and maybe they help some but I just think there are better drugs for sleep ( the intended use)

I get bad anxiety and depression when I withdrawal usually from opiates/opioids. That could be it.
 
Z drug actually do a pretty good job at making u pass out... It's just when u wake up and need to take a piss when u need to watch ur step.

I have mirtaz as well and that makes me sleep for like 18h.

It's awful, tastes like a robot shit in your mouth and no where near as effective as Ambien. I wonder if OP can get gabapentin it helps me sleep well and seems to have some anti anxiety effects. Sucks OP can't get kpins, I've had a script for 10+ years, but I limit myself to as few as possible a month (5ish out of 20)
 
i would rather have Lunesta 3mg instead of Ambien 10mg. The Ambien wears off to fast. I do not understand why Lunesta is limited to 3mg as the max dosage doctors can Rx. Lunesta 6mg is the dose I like.

I genuinely find zopiclone better than ambien/zolpidem. It's just more recreational. IT does kill anxiety and if you're not used to it then it makes you all a bit wonky. That goes after a while. It just makes you sleep. The rebound xieanty is very unpleasan though.
 
I get into 1st generation antihistamines for sedative effects, anxiety treatment, and to potentiate opioids :

-- Promethazine 50mg-100mg dose OR Vistaril PAM 200mg-250mg dose
(A) For Heavy Sedative Effects large doses
(B) Smaller doses : 6hrs for anxiety maintenance, potentiate opioids
(C) Add Clonidine 0.2mg-0.6mg or Ativan 1mg-2mg to larger doses for insomnia maintenance
(D) Add Clonidine 0.1mg-0.3mg or Ativan 0.5mg-1mg : 8hrs for increased anxiety maintenance, pain control

These are the 3 drugs I wanted to share about that are helpful for stress and stress related syndrome symptoms. All three are not controlled so they are easy to get and they work very well for the purposes I listed. All three have many uses that tend to fit all personalities. I also like Benadryl in high doses 200mg-300mg for it's mild sedative relaxing effects.
 
It doesn't seem logical to me that where you are, its so strict about prescribing benzos when there's a case that legitimately requires it. I'm in Argentina and I've been taking benzos for almost a decade. They prescribe me lorazepam and methadone (at first for opioid withdrawal, but now they've stopped me because the doctor thinks it helps stabilize my mood), and well, it works... but they're very addictive. It doesn't seem to matter.

Zopiclone is often referred to as a “benzodiazepine in disguise” as although a Hypnotic & Sedative…..its MOA is very similar to GABA-A Agonist specifically at the a1 subunit responsible for its hypnotic properties

An interesting analog called PAGACLONE ….which is very selective in that is has a high affinity for the a2/a3 subunits which are responsible for its robust anxiolytic properties. Busbar... I love it for GAD long-term treatment. I have two 1mg Ativan tablets to take how I please during the day. This combo with Zoloft has helped anxiety greatly.

Same with me. Lunesta is the only Z-drug that works for me. I take it with Clonidine, Vistaril PAM, Flexeril, and Ativan to sleep normally. I would take something stronger than Lunesta but I take Roxicodone and Methadone which limits me to taking a stronger sleep medicine.

The combo I take to sleep is much stronger than a single strong sleep medicine.
 
Zopiclone is very good at causing rebound anxiety of over used. A bit like booze. Definitely not a treatment for.
 
I dated a pharmacy tech recently that described "once normal acting" customers with Ambien Rx's "displaying odd symptoms" out of the blue. They had no issues being on Ambien for long-periods of time then they started running out of the medication. Many of them did not know the doctor was limited to the dosage and monthly quantity. Of course unknowingly they were requesting early refills from the pharmacy 10-20 days early. This was one of the red-flags. The other red-flags was they would show up to the pharmacy without a reason for being there completely on another planet not remembering. Some would show up on the wrong day to pick up their Ambien.

The pharmacy knew something was up and in the same time frame The word got out that Ambien was being snorted and a couple customers were arrested via DUI without alcohol in their system. It became obvious they were snorting the drug because of straws, rolled dollar bills, and Ambien Rx bottles loosely hanging out inside of the car. A medication that is supposed to be taken once a day at night would 99% be at home not in the car.

Two and two were put together in the pharmacy and doctor's practice that certain patients with Ambien Rx's out of no where were having legal issues (DUI or intoxicated in public) and were requesting dosage increases, early refills on a medication that once was stabilized in the patient.

Back to anxiety long-term treatment, once I started taking Busbar my anxiety improved greatly. I thought the only way was to increase my Ativan by 200%.
 
Personally I like eszopiclone for sleep, and I find it devoid of recreational value. Zolpidem actually felt like a mild stimulant to me and was useless for sleep. I need put Eszopiclone in a small gelcap before swallowing since the taste is hideous, but otherwise it gently get me to sleep, and wears off fast enough that I have no hangover. I haven’t noted any rebound anxiety, though I only take 3 mg when I use it.
I’m intrigued by orexin antagonists. They sound promising. They’re still pretty expensive though, and Eszopiclone is cheap.

What's with the Ativan? Something about it you like over other benzos?

I've tried it a load of time but it didn't really stick out for me. It was fine. Does the job. Didn't notice any warmth. Maybe the muscle relaxation was better than I thought at the time but for some reason I just kept buying other stuff instead.
