Well I know that people take benzos to help reduce effects of psychedelics when they are not enjoying it, so my question is will zolpidem still have the same type of effects for reducing psycedelics? I know zolpidem is kind of like a benzo but also a lot different in it's effects. All I have is zolpidem and I don't have access to any other benzos. Thanks.

Z hypnotics cause hallucinations, and bizarre behavior (even for black-out behavior) in some users. This is less likely to happen at recommended therapeutic doses, so be cautious.

Maybe test it on the tail end of your next trip, and see how it makes you feel? While you aren't guaranteed to react the same as you would under psychological distress, it may provide some insight.

I THINK taking certain Z hypnotics when on anything serotonin releasing can cause PCP like psychotic hallucinations. However that may just be Zaleplon and Zopiclone. Whether these hallucinations are ACTUAL hallucinations or just flies in your mouth and shadow people (which you can see as not real) I do not know. It also might be a stress on your brain that you don't want.
