Zolpidem/Ambien made by Mylan question

I just got my Ambien rx (zolpidem) refilled and they changed the manufacturer and they are now larger purple pills. I usually snort these even though they burn a bit, but has anyone tried snorting these specific ones? I want to know before I do one before bed tonight.

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to snort the Mylan zolpidems vs the other ones you've been snorting.

Great, thank you. I was just kind of thrown off by the manufacturer switch, so I didn't know if they had maybe made them "unsnortable" ala the new oxys or if they burned any more than usual since these seem to be notorious for the burn.

been wondering about this too. just got the new one refilled...they are slightly larger than the previous generic ones right? mine are a very pale purple as opposed to white like the old ones. i railed one the other night...it was a bitch because the shell completely shatters and its nearly impossible to separate it from the rest of the powder (the old shell used to break up into big pieces and was easier to separate). also there is like about 1/3 more powder so I'm scared its all just more fillers. didnt seem the same high to me as the old generics, but that could just be because I think it's going to be different. so i decided to lick the coating off of one first and will try that tonight and get back to you
