I've use ambiem as a recreational drug around 9 or 10 times previously, just yesterday I was prescribed 15 10mg tabs to help me get my sleeping schedule back on track. I do intend on using the rest as prescribed.
Around 9pm I took 1 tablet (i was planning on staying awake for a buzz), then as soon as i felt some nice benzo-like effects for some reason i popped 5 more. I read a couple pihkal entries (dont know why as i had read both pihkal and tihkal muliple times) and began to get visual distortions, i was still mentally clear at this point. I dimmed my light and lay down with my eyes still open i began vividly hallucinating circus-like events happening all around me, i was ferris wheels, bumper carts, people on stilts, ect. I knew i was hallucinating and was having a great time despite not liking deleriants. At one point i forgot i had taken a drug while i was observing magnificent alien spaceships and fancy looking horse carriages. Things start getting very fuzzy at this point, I started slipping downward off my bed into somewhere i cant remember (but i was familiar with the place) in this place i was talking to old friends, and ex girlfriends, i thought everyone i talked to was also tripping on ambien and we were actually communicating telepathically (which reminds me of DXM). I remember crawling back into bed multiple times, only to slip right off again. I woke up around 5am feeling extremely refreshed, i thought i totally blacked out but slowly began remembering what happened (im very familiar with this phenomenon, also reminiscent of DXM). Overall, i consider ambien to be pleasant but best used as directed as the trip just isnt worth it to me, theres nothing gained, and its not particularly fun.
