Prescription only. It is some serious shit. When my doctor prescribed it he gave me a stern look and said something about using it only the way it was intended. Then he wrote "NO REFILLS" on my prescription and underlined it. 8)

he saw straight thru my little act of insomnia, but i still got my prescription :)
 
I'm new here. Find this board rather interesting.
I currently have about five bottles of 10mg Ambien and have taken it in 10mg doses quite often. I've never "tripped" from it... just sleep a long time the next morning.
I am a regular H user so maybe my tolerance is higher? Do any of you use heroin and also Ambien and if so, what effects do you feel from it?
I know it will make you do some crazy shit in your sleep that you don't remember doing, but it affects people differently, I guess.
So you're saying taking, say, 20mg at once in the daytime will make you "trip"?
Since I have so many, maybe I'll try it now... LOL
 
Yea man all you have to do is realize you're high and stay awake. Doubt there'd be a cross tolerance.
 
I'm just wondering why the hell they're still prescribing this stuff if it has the potential to cause all of those effects! 8(
 
i wonder the same thing, but none the less it works recreationally, ive gotten some really good visuals off them, ususally only a 10 or 20 mg dose is all i need to get really fucked. Some people dont trip off em at, so it really depends on the person, mabey me been on ssri's has something to do with it
 
I think it hasn't been researched enough for people to care. Nobody I know has heard of using Ambien recreationally, but I know it could become very popular around here if there was supply and demand.
 
I dont think it will get too popular, because of how fucked up this shit is. Seriously, its a wild ride.

the parrallel someone saw between ambien and PCP is pretty true I think. I only smoked dust a few times, but you can like 'break through' into a realm of absolute craziness. Ambien is, to me, an automatic breakthrough.

I mean, usually no matter what drug (besides Salvia D) I can usually buckle down and Ride The High, I get to a comfortable place where Im in control. I can fuckin take 20 mg 2c-e recreationally. While It is possible to eat just the right amount of ambien, its a difficult, if not impossible task, especially if you like to mix a good drug coctail.
 
I do NOT reccomend any booze with it, that's for damn sure. And you are sooo right about the dose being very hard to determine. But hell people do salvia, ketamine, pcp, and pleanty of other shit that would mess you up just as much if not more. It has the potential, among my group of friends at least, to be quite popular. Maybe not to the general drug community though.

Ummm... what about the over the counters, such as DXM, Dramamine, and Marezine?!

I know from experience... Dramamine and Marezine give you the most fucked up ride of your life. And DXM is definitely one of the strongest, weirdest, most intimidating psychedelics that I've ever done! High dose DXM rivals ketamine, and I've had times that DXM totally smashed my highest experiences on K.

Hell, 1.876g of DXM caused the most intense experience of my life! Not even my high dose MDA with DMT smoked at the peak could top it, yet... DXM is still over-the-counter.

AFAIK, the hype about Ambien will die down just as quick as it started. I will never abuse my Ambien, it is a godsend when I'm manic and can't sleep. Why would I fuck that up?

But to answer the thread, yes, I have gotten high off of Ambien before. It is a really weird feeling. It builds sort of like an amphetamine euphoria, like a cross between the lovey-dovey MDA and the rushes of MDMA, though much weaker. About T+1:15, the visuals start. These visuals remind me quite a bit of anti-cholinergic visuals (dramamine, benadryl, marezine, belladonna) only without the extra edge.

I never really put two and two together that it was the Ambien that caused the visuals and the extreme sense of lucidity until now. I had taken 10mg after a long night of MDA, I figured it was the MDA causing all the static. *shrugs*

I saw this figure of a woman... she was like an oak tree or something. Like, physically, she was a woman, but spiritually, she was an oak. She came up to me and whispered some weird shit into my ear and then sort of morphed into a huge sunflower... Weird weird WEIRD shit!
 
yes, but with the likes of DXM, dramamine and the others, you're not taking the recommended dose. If you get a crazy trip just after taking the prescribed dose for ambien then that's a little odd..? 8(
 
I must have a weird chemical imbalance or some shit because I've taken VERY high doses of this stuff, and it has yet to affect me in any way. As in, I don't get knocked out and wake up the next day, and I don't see shit. I've taken up to 7 of the 10 mg ambiens. Any ideas?

It doesn't work for you. Move on to something else.

Why can't people seem to understand that drugs are not consistent person-to-person?! Individual variance is so widespread with many of these drugs that its not even worth playing the "what-if I do this" game... especially with pharms.

Some people get their rocks from Ambien. Others get their rocks from LSD. Still others get their rocks from MDxx. Individual variance is a bitch. :D
 
ive tripped on ambien about 6 times. it was incredibly weird each time. i would kind of get to a point where i was dreaming while awake. it made me nauseas though and i started to feel dizzy the entire next after it so i sold the rest of my script
 
If any of you guys made note of it... how long do these experiences tend to last?
