I know this has probably been asked before, but I really wanna know what the effects will be. I was put on zoloft December 8th of 2010. I took 25mg for a week, then 50mg for a while, then 100mg for the past 3 days. I didnt take any today and I wont take any tomorrow. Anyways, I am going to do shrooms tomorrow night and I want to know if the amount of zoloft i have taken will seriously diminish my trip or not. I also take valium on a daily basis, because i need it and because it like it, will that have any effect? Thanks in advance!

These drugs can be safely combined with the SSRIs. Most people report that they need to take MORE of a hallucinogen to get normal effects. Thus, if you are taking an SSRI, you will probably need more of the drug to reach threshold effects. Some people find that they need to take more LSD, but that shrooms affect them normally. So be careful to start at a normal dose and only take more if you find that you need to.
NOTE: Do not take 'ayahuasca' while on an SSRI. Do not combine SSRIs with any kind of MAOI, such as harmaline.

it will be fine... as stated above u made to take a few more shrooms to get ur desired effect

zoloft can take a while to fully clear from your system just as it takes a while for it to start taking effect in the first place. so take the advice from above. Assume the zoloft is still lingering and take a normal dose, but be prepared to up the dosage by small increments if it feels necessary
