Misc Zimmovane side effects

I apoligise if this is in the wrong section, if it is could a kind mod move it or tell me where I should repost it?

My friend has been taking Zimmovane for insomnia and in the last couple of days she has developed a nasty rash on her chest and a bit on her arms. She was taking it due to insomnia, but mainly as she is waking up regularly at 3am and can't get back to sleep for an hour. She also takes diazepam in small quantities throughout the day.

Has anyone else come across this rash? From doing some reading I hear it is a side effect of Zimmovane. Obviously the thing to do would be to come off it but she relaly feels she needs it for sleep. Can anyone also recommend anything else for sleep?

Could be the zopiclone. Has she only just started taking it?

Side effects aplenty with ole zimovane; metallic taste in mouth, AMNESIA, behaving out of character, etc.

She could try melatonin. Look it up. All natural.

Maybe nitrazepam. That medicine will keep you asleep. I've taken zopiclone & woken up 5 hours later as soon as it wore off.
