SWIM has a script for Zaleplon. 40 10mg pills. With no health insurance, they're a tad expensive. There's an idea about getting more bang for your buck, but there are questions.
According to research, when taken orally the bioavailability of Zaleplon is quite low (roughly 30%). SWIM thought he should snort the powder since it improves the effect of other things. However, according to more research, apparently Zaleplon is not water soluble so snorting wouldn't be effective. You'd have to wait for the drip out of the back of your nose. Same as just swallowing them...right?
As an experiment, SWIM dissolved 10mg of the powder in about 10ml of water. After a couple minutes, you could see a thin film floating on top of the water. SWIM could be totally wrong, but could this film be the active ingredient? What would happen if SWIM used an eye dropper to remove the rest of the water leaving only the film....and then mixed the film with a SMALL amount of Vodka...or something in which the Zaleplon would be soluble. And then snorted the solution (Ouch)...held it in his mouth or plugged it? SWIM hasn't seen any information regarding bioavailability when taken this way? Could this work? Or would the Alcohol destroy the drug. Also, would it be better for SWIM to just dissolve all of the powder in the alcohol?
