Why can a pot dispensary and product for solely "medical" purposes legality wise, be pretty swilry colors and branding, candies, tye-dyed bob marley themed. etc.

Meanwhile every other single "medicine" comes in a very clinical ugly boring looking pill and container.

I would love to seem some roxies in differet colors, gummy hydromorphones, smokable fentanyl....all sold in a pharmacy with black light, reggae music playing and someone qualified to dispense schedule I drugs, while pharmacists with 8 years of schools are needed to dispense "safer" schedule II drugs.

I'm being satirical but not really....it kind of buys me that "medical" weed isn't treated anything close to being medical in the way it is dispensed....having it under medical restriction is just bullshit if they are going to treat it like a joke....either that or roxies and oxycontin needs to start coming in candy flavours and gummy bear shapes....its just bullshit.

Really it depends on the medicine as to what type of marketing technique they use. Plenty of anti depressants show depression as some type of thing that you can interact with and make happy thus making you happy:

The last one even shows opiates as something you have with you all the time. I get that medical marijuana can be seemingly more childish and colorful but those are a few examples of prescription marketing techniques there are plenty for OTC ones too. Marijuana just has a specific culture you can draw from already. The reason packaging isnt a target of advertisement is its probably deemed inefficient by the companies as by the time you receive the container you are already a customer and there isnt any direct competition at that point.

Yeah, the fentanyl lollipops are super cool, and I used to order this shit from Canada called "Clonatril", 1.5mg of Clonazepam sealed up in packages, strong banana flavor, they were basically the perfect pill, candy + quality benzo all in one. On the rare occasions I used to smoke Heroin I'd mix a glob of it up with cannabis indica wax, then smoke on the foil. Nice way to catch a heroin high with a high grade pot buzz, and the taste of the wax always improved the BTH. But hard narcotics will never be packaged the way herb is. You can't turn hard drugs into gummy bears, way to dangerous with children around.
