Not a "believer in Marx" but respect his ideology, of his time (however veneration of him as some type of "saint" is ridiculous), neither am I a left nor, right aficionado (regarding pop-discourse). This however ( though I don't agree with absolutely everything- in fact would have many bones to pick with much), was beyond refreshing to listen to. For balance, it would be interesting to hear a Taiwanese, lecturer criticise the treatment of the working-class in Taiwan, or, China, the Gulf or other Eastern states, also - not to minimise her argument but to make it more integral to the integrity of the argument - as all are engaged in Capitalism.
