Your word of the day Ver 0.23

Time.

I really wish I could get some time away from everything. Just a couple of days away to chill out in a wee seaside town- have a bit of a walk through some forests and nature, then back to some chill cafe for tea, scones and a funny book or summit.

U may not think it to read the above but I'm in my 30's not my 60's :D

You need to visit Scotland.

My word of the day is - transitioning.

Yeah, if was possible now, I think that would be a great idea :) but alas not possible.

Does anybody else like the idea of holidaying alone or actually do it?...or am I alone in these thoughts

I'd love to be able to do it for a couple of weeks every year.

Definitely, travelling / holidaying on your own is magic. You actually engage with other people a lot more than if in a couple / crowd. I've went to all sorts of weird places on my own - Nepal, India, Morocco etc. Life changing experiences. Be brave and go for it.

Scotland's (the rural / wilds) is good for the head btw. xxx

Cheers- I figured some others must have the same thoughts.
Funny I always find I'm more sociable when I'm not with company too.
Not making excuses but If there's one time I really can't go for it that time is now. I'll have to just go for a bit of a camping weekend once weather improves. But tbf that will be good enough :)

Camping! My favoured activity these days. We have great spaces up north here to camp inexpensively. I know of a site in southern Scotland that is pure hippy central - they let you burn bonfires and have loads of animals wandering around an amazing landscape. Not sure if that would be your thing, if you think it may be pm and I'll link to them.
