It is a great movie, the dad from Everybody Loves Raymond is his lawyer. I also think its way better than Fear and Loathing

johny depp did a pretty good job playing that role

i heard he lived in hunter s thompsons basement for like 4 months to prepare for the role...not too sure though..it was just something i heard

Back in 1980, Bill Murray spent a month living with HST for the exact same reason. It worked a bit TOO well: he turned into such a raging douchebag asshole that he got kicked off of Saturday Night Live for being impossible to work with.
 
involving drug use or primarily about drug use? cause a lot of good movies involve drug use but everyone seems to be listing movies primarily about drug use.
