OK so i just bought a large 200mL (I think that;s the amount in the large bottle) of Ricodeine. & chugged the bottle in 2 sips. very easy to drink unlike syrups containing dxm. So that's 380mg DHC I think. Now DHC is suppose to be approx twice as strong as codeine. So it would be like taking 760mg codeine if the ceiling dose didnt exists which is debatable. anyways.

anyways I had 150mg valium with GFJ before dosing the dhc. I also have 400mg of codeine which is in the freezer to consume soon

anyways my stomach feels fine. & there are no symptoms of diarrhea. Im still waiting for an effect. It suppose to take twice as long as codeine to peak & last alot longer. I should be dosing another 400mg of codeine soon too.

I get a mild euphoria from codeine but it's pretty short lived although when i dosed 700mg the other night when i was really tired it made me feel really good. I dont believe in the ceiling dose.

I think DHC would be a really relaxing opiate similar to morphine if u took 800mg+ but unfortunately the soribitol stops ya from doing that.

Im starting to feel it now. it's alot more sedating than codeine but it lacks it's euphoria but i think it's because i havnt had a high enough dose cuz of the soribitol. again I think the codeine's few seconds peaking feels better

Has anyone been prescribed DHC on its own or with apap so u can cwe?
Im just wondering what ppl experiences are with DHC?
Has anyone got an euphoria from it?
What sort of doses are u talking about?

I think it has potential as being as good as morphine but unfortunately the sorbitol would ruin the high before u even got close enough dose for it to give a decent buzz. but the feeling i got now from a large bottle is nice. just not a high enough dose for me
 
Whoa slow down tiger. 150mg of diazapam is overkill as is.

Combine that with the dhc you just took and your probably getting into the realms of dangerous CNS depression as is. Assuming you have a massive tolerance already, but thats getting rather dangerous regardless. Adding another CNS depressant (normal codiene) ontop of that and its a damn good way to land in the ER or dead on your kitchen floor.

I'd be having 000 dialed in and your fingers resting on the call button mate. Not sure if you've ever experienced CNS depression to the point where breathing is voluntary but its fucking scary. Should not have to force yourself it breath.
 
You might be lucky in avoiding gastrointestinal discomfort from the massive dose of sorbitol, but I found that my ability to deal with that shit only declined in the few (5 or less) times I messed with riko.
Personally, the sorbitol negates any value the mixture has. Everybody's physiology is different, but I don't waste my time with that crap.
Bloated gurgling guts aren't my idea of an acceptable side effect from an opiate high....but this may be more acceptable (or less pronounced) for some.
 
I obviously have a tolerance to benzos so dont worry. I dont even really feel any effect from the valium.
im more concerned about drinking to much coffee today. seriously.
wekll i have very mild stomach discomfort.
definetely not twice as strong as codeine. codeine seems to feel way better. but i havnt had a proper dose of dhc before. & im not gunna drink to bottles. i dont have diarrhea but im sure would if i drank any more than a large bottle.
just curious what ppl think of rikodeine or actual dhc by itself which u can choose a dose without worrying about sorbitol :\
 
Let me say your doses are too high.

It's not that your taking 150mg of valium, it's that you're taking it mixed with a strong opioid.

Do you have a high opiate tolerance?

My suggestions;

no drugs :P
no benzo and try opiate
lower benzo dose and lower opiate dose.. like do 1/4 of what you are doing.
Or try a different opiate. Maybe they are just not for you, why do 'em if they don't feel that good.

i'll be fine ppl dhc is super weak & ive often taken codeine with benzos. codeine isny much stronger than coffee. except its a downer.
ive mixed valium & oxy heaps of times. i dont consiter it to be to dangerous. honestly i think theres something wrong with me. if u spiked my coffee with 75mg of valium i probably wouldnt even realize id taken it. seriously

i can even get away with popping 100mg of diazepam & drinking as much as i want. but i dont drink any more.
but im not stupid id always take the benzos first. i wouldnt drink a bottle of burbon & than take 100mg of diaz.

I honestly think its ok to mix benzos with alcohol as long as u dose ya benzos first. wait for them to kick in & than drink ya alcohol as long as its not spirits. only beer. worst thing that could happen is u get really tired or even worse pass out but because ya entering the alcohol slowly u should feel when ya starting to have to much unlike if u take a handful after ya already drunk. u know what i mean.
ppl are gunna mix benzos & alcohol no matter what ppl say. instead of saying DONT EVER MIX THEM TOGETHER. than ppl should give safe ways to take it. like dose benzos before hand. wait 1/2 hr. sup alcohol like beer or premixed drinks. dont take shots or anything. im sure nobody as ODed from doing it that way

I would take DHC over codeine any day. I find it more sedating and euphoric.

The sorbitol makes it un-abusable as far as I'm concerned, I get bad shits and vomiting which just isn't worth it.

do they actually prescribe dhc in aus?

it feels kind of serotonic like a calmer version of tramadol. its lasting alot longer. pitty there isnt a simple way like cwe to separate dhc from sorbitol. the feeling ive got is good but id need to take 4x the amount to be nodding. id be nodding out permanently stuck to the toilet though. Ive only been to the toilet once. its not that bad. I could probably handle another bottle but than id be stuck on the toilet nodding for sure.
maybe i dont have diarrhea because ive had codeine to which counteracts the diarrhea with constipation.
i wonder if there's something u can take to reverse the laxative effect.
anyways. a small bottle wouldn't cause diarrhea at all. 190mg in a small bottle. if that = 380mg codeine. than taking 400mg of codeine + 190mg dhc is produces a pretty good opiate effect.
maybe taking some Loperamide might help doesn't that stop diarrhea. what's its brand name again? it helps with opiate w/d too

as to the above post i haven't ever had an nausea from rikodeine. but i think i have to go to the toilet again :\ u think imodium would help?
probably not a good idea taking a laxative & than taking another drug to stop the laxative effect.

im not gunna buy the 200mL bottle any more cuz of the diarrhea & the 100mL bottle wouldnt give enough dhc to give much of an effect. im still curious about whether imodium could help with the diarrhea

the diarrhea is pretty minimal & its worth it cuz im pretty relaxed atm & its not cuz of the valium. 150mg of diaz doesnt do alot for me even though ive never had more than 150mg.
its defensively the dhc making me feel relaxed. i should get to sleep easily.
i might have a cup of tea....

i'm glad you've realised that rikodeine is a (very runny) dead-end street.
 
Yo spacejunk, have you ever tried scattering seeds somewhere not many people pass and harvesting when it's time (assuming somebody else doesn't beat you to it)
I've thought about doing something like that, just never actually been bothered to get off my ass and try
 
I'm a fan of dhc.
I'd never drink that syrup though.
I've just taken straight dhc..both immediate release and time release.
It's a more stimulating opiate like codeine or even tramadol.

Codeine and valium is a great combo, for me. Or at least it used to be.
Not sure w/my tolerance up right now.

I honestly don't think there's any good way to mix benzo's and alcohol.
With both substances lowering inhibitions...too many ppl end up doing too many stupid
and harmful things.

Taste is horrible, side-effects from the sorbitol are horrible (pissing shit through your arse, making the toilet bowl a fucking mess LOL). High is good, especially with some codeine and/or Tramadol in the mix. Except the problem is that not that many pharmacies stock that shit no more.

If you look through a DHC thread on here that's old but has been dug up not too long ago, you'll see that for most people DHC is not 2 times as strong and is usually about the same strength as codeine. I found it maybe a little more potent but hard to judge due to tolerance. The sorbitol is a pain in the ass... literally.

And damn, watch that benzo tolerance comrade!
 
I don't rate DHC, it doesn't feel as clean as most other opies do and I find it lacks sedation and makes it difficult for me to sleep. I honestly don't find it much more potent than codeine per mg, if at all, and the sorbitol is pretty much the icing on the cake to make Riko not worth it. The only real use I see for Riko is if someone with a habit can't get onto their DOC and need something to alleviate their sickness a bit.
 
I once read a thread where a guy shat himself in the movie theatres after taking 20 Valium 5's and 2 bottles of Rikodeine. He also fell asleep or someshit lol.
