Opioids your thoughts on oxycodone

it may be a little expensive but its worth it
in my opinion it is only good on occasion
sometimes i have a really rough day or something really good happens
i take a roxy
i use hydromorphone a lot more and yes its way stronger but sometimes i need a step down
sometimes i need to be able to celebrate and be high
with hydromorphone i get the bare minimum done and nothing else but with oxy i get shit done

Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) is actually slightly more potent than Diacetylmorphine (Heroin) via IV administration….slightly. Both Teri 1 very potent & pleasurable Opioids for injection

Canadian narcotics I’ve been prescribed long term …..PF has/had the best Oxy-IR and original CDN 80’s and the holy grail CDN blue 160’s…….WOW……a blue OC 160mg tablet, my lord. 20’s 40’s and 80’s were most practical for a tolerant regular daily user for serious chronic pain…..with an effective CNS dopaminergic stimulant like Ritalin (Methylphenidate) 50mg IR ingested with the Oxycodone 80mg …..the pain just meeeelted away into a content pleasurable mood, upbeat & happy, with almost zero pain and not sedated in the least……alert, talkative, social, engaging and fully functional ……Fck Ya

oxycodone and methylphenidate is amazing
though i need 144 to 216 mg of methylphenidate to feel any sort of stim high (2-3 concerta 72s)
that and 30-50 mg of oxy

lol. You probably didn't mean it this way but it made me laugh because opioids can be a bit like that. Feeling bad and depressed? Take some oxy and feel better. Feeling fine and everything is well? Take some oxy and feel better.

Anyway, my thoughts on oxycodone?

It's a great drug. In a general sense, for your average Joe. It's decently strong. It's super easy to take - just swallow the pill - thanks to high oral bioavailability. People enjoy doing all kinds of shit with 'em: snort 'em, smoke 'em, put 'em in a stew. But you may as well just swallow it. It has less histamine response and general opiate irritation to the body than codeine or morphine or opium.

But it's stupidly expensive when purchased illicitly and doesn't offer much for someone who's shooting heroin and/or fent every day like an idiot. (I'm one of those idiots.)

But yeah, objectively speaking, oxy is great.

Definitely a winner in my book. I've done a lot of different opiates and it is one of the most euphoric. It always seemed a bit stimulating too, unlike say heroin. I always felt more productive on oxys compared to other opiates for that reason. Unfortunately for me, whose tolerance is jacked up from years of methadone following heroin and fent addiction, I'll probably never encounter enough oxy at any one time to make taking it worthwhile. And when you factor in the price of illicit oxycodone, who can really afford to use it?

The highest tier is occupied by heroin, hydromorphine, morphine, oxycodone, and possibly methadone and U-47700 is among the very last spots in the first tier. As in, it's strong enough and otherwise pleasant enough to be one of the genuinely recreational ones - and it obviously has good painkilling properties. Both it most redeeming special feature, and its greatest downfall, is that it's actually worth eating because it's a viable way to absorb it. Most other strong opioids have neglibible oral BA, whereas oxycodone you don't need to IV in order to make use of more than 30% of it. It also doesn't benefit massively from being injected; the rush is pretty disappointing compared to heroin, morphine, or hydromorphone. Or U-47700.

Potency alone is not the sole factor about how strong the euphoria/warmth is

Oxycodone and Hydromorphone are very high on the list but the king of opiates is Heroin.
Diacetylmorphin (Heroin) first gets metabolised to 6-MAM and then into morphine. There has been speculation that this 6-MAM metabolite has a strong effect on subjective Euphoria, comfort and warmth.

From what I heard too is Oxy has slight dopaminergic effects hence why it makes people a little less sleepy (this could be hearsay though).

Sorry to double post but I never got why some folks do weird ROA when it makes no sense. Oxy has, especially compared to other opiates, an insane amount of oral BV. Eg: Morphine only has like 60%.
Yet I seen ppls crush and snort them, smoke them, etc. All feels like a waste. Sure inhaling or snorting kicks in faster but especially with smoking it you lose so much product it ain‘t worth it.
