Rippling tears streaming down the face
Eyes red, mascara smearing her cheek

He brushes her hair back but she looks away
She given to much already
How can she give him the look of pain.

"Your perfect, maybe to perfect"
is what keeps playing in her head

Looking out the window of the coffee shop
wishing no one was really around
but she is the one who spoke regardless.

I am too perfect?
Why is it that ?
When all I feel is I have failed

How is It I see to much I feel to much
and now I am to much?

I patient and kind i am true to who i am
But who i am is too perfect for you.

So you say i understand reality to well
I seen to much, i didn't get to have that perfect life
as where you did,,,,, so now you look for truth

I am too much truth for you?

You say i am your angel
you place me on a mountain top
because you know that is where my vision takes me
and now you say the beach must be were to go

you ask me to walk with you along the waters
and listen to your stories told, cause your stories
are easier to take ,,,, of my old stories of the beaches
i used to know.

So now i sit with you here near the mountain edge
tears in my eyes exposing to you what i already know
I see your eyes hurt just as much as mine,

it is not goodbye, we will see eachother tomorrow
I know you will call before the night ends to check one me
you care,, your protective, you love me

but tonight i will cry and evaluate all my failures
my faults, each and everyone of my imperfections
as you feel sad for your too perfect angel
that is just to perfect to fix

I don't need , nor want, nor choose
my role.

people telling you 'you are too perfect' is quite cliched in my opinion. sounds like he has a problem as I told you..
