Your parent's drugs..

My mom used to take Seconal mixed with beer...wonder she's alive...

She also took PCP once and says it was the scariest experience of her life. Still not sure on the details but it's not something she likes to talk about.

Mostly she just drank and smoked weed though.
 
Alcohol and lots of it, lost my father to it. My mom claims she smoked weed in college, tried to get her to smoke when she was going through chemo but the status quo is still so engrained in a lot of older people.

One of the few things I hate about Texas, I had to watch my mom in so much pain while they scripted her 2mg valiums and 5/500 hydros. Maybe I'm a bit biased, but those drugs are laughable at those dosages. I would think someone in great pain would be qualified to get something a little more substantial. She was going through alcohol WD too. The doctor even said she wished she could prescribe my mom cannabis since it had many positive effects with people going through chemo. She pulled through though without any weed and for that I am grateful.
 
My grandmother has better stories about good drugs. Her father wasna doctor too so they had all the exlixers even after they were banned.

What really seemed to impress her the most was old skool Coca-Cola. She said it wad just the bee's knees.

She also mentioned how effective heroin was for the flu. She and her siblings and cousins would fight over the various cocaine and opium elixers around the house.

Than as she got older she had rx's for every barbiturate and benzo in the book.

She still has like 4 benzo scripts. I dunno how she convinced our doctor too give her dalmane, valium, temazepam, and triazalom all at once. She kinda starts with valiun and then takes one of the stronger ones which she rotates.

She also gets codeine/promethazine syrup and vicodin.

I suppose that my doctor is like fuck it, she is a life long functional drug addict. Grandma is super chill and known to break ya off something.

My mother gets klonopin and vicodin from the same doctor.

He will write me anything I want besides opiates but he used to. Now I have to go to the pain clinic cuz if the dea. Thanks Obama.

My grandfather really hated the drugs he got in the service, they probably bring back memories. He got alit a lot of barbiturates and then morphine after getting shot.

My fatjer refuses to talk about his drug use in the past but I remember him using when I was a kid and it made him very aggressive and violent.

My mother got slipped acid at a party so she never got inot anything except benzos in recent years. She smoked pot a bit in college and said she got more high off my weed than the shit they had back then.
 
my mom told me they did coke some, they all did, a bit of weed, and PCP ONCE!!!Boyfriends would provide the drugs and all. Oh and said a bf would give her a lude now and again while everyone else was drinkin and she didnt. Couldnt believe that angel dust. She's sooooooo not a drug person now. My mind was blown.
 
My dad use to be a big drinker and I know he smoked pot, don't know how much, also is prescribed a benzo but doesn't really take them. I gotta feeling he has done some other stuff maybe, but don't know. My mom never did anything up until a couple years ago she discovered booze, and may take a benzo every now and again, tryed smoking pot but couldn't keep the smoke down.
 
My mom was big into the speedy diet pills of the 1960's though she can't remember the specific brand name when I asked her. She hates street drugs and thinks LSD will will give you brain damage. Too old to change, she's at least opposed to the drug war, good enough.
 
My parents don't really like drugs. My dad just smoked a lot of tobacco when he was younger and drinks alcohol, he is against the idea of using drugs even if im sure he knew a lot of drug users, specially artists and shit (he once told a story about parties that had kind of an open bar for cocaine and cannabis lol), he says drugs are unnecessary.
My mom doesn't like drugs either, she doesn't even drink (just a little wine sometimes) but she knows a lot of shit and has an open mind so i've talked with her about weed and a little bit about psychedelics in the past.
Now days i prefer to shut my mouth and don't say anything I don't have to. Anyways I don't live with them atm so they don't know much, they both knew i smoked a lot of pot though.
 
I am a parent and I've taken everything except crack, and that's only because I never mixed in crack circles.

My mum never did anything stronger than a sherry her whole life. My dad did national service in North Africa at the end of the 1940's and smoked great hash.

I inherited my dads genes.

My father is deceased , but my mom is still kicking. And coming from her groupie/travel days, she tells me crazy stories from way back when of all she and my father experienced.
 
Mom: Tobacco, the occasional glass of rum, tried weed once, but from her description of the experience she either had a low tolerance or it was laced.

Dad: Tobacco, alcohol (he's an alcoholic), weed in the 70s and I suspect other stuff earlier in the 60s. He was a long haul truck driver for 45yrs, so with that came amphetamines and cocaine in the 80s all the way through the 2000s.

I was completely averse to drugs growing up 'Just Say No' was at its peek. It wasn't until I got out on my own that I started experimenting. Been almost 15yrs now since I first used. I'd love to bring my dad some of my best green and smoke out with him. He still doesn't know I use, although he has a suspicion.
