Speaking of bad endings.........
I think the ending of Communion totally ruined the entire movie for me.
Also, the remake of House on Haunted Hill has much improved and better ending on the DVD as an alternate. The original ending for the movie made the rest of the movie look corny!

Get Shorty - This one is a pure dud. It has an all star cast though(How odd).
Halloween
Priscilla Queen of the Desert - I'm not into queer movies so watching commercialized male porno makes me want to vomit!!
The Fear(Not to be confused with FEAR)
---REMAKES NOT WORTH SEEING---
Pirahna
The Shining
Psycho
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The originals were 40 times better than these remakes!
Any Dramatic Jim Carrey Movie - It's a damn shame that his good talent is put to waste.
Jesus christ, what kind of movies DO you like?
1) Get Shorty was based on an Elmore Leonard novel. Elmore Leonard is a GOD when it comes to crime fiction.
2) Halloween may be a "cheesy horror flick" by today's standards, but it was a groundbreaking film in it's day.
3) Priscilla Queen of the Dessert was not male porno. It was a great movie with three actors who all went on to play major ass-kicking roles in future movies. Guy Pearce starred in LA Confidential, Hugo Weaving is Agt. Smith in the Matrix movies and Terrance Stamp was a total hard-ass in The Limey.
4) You say "THE fear", not to be confused with "Fear"... because Mark Whalburg's "Fear" was SUCH a GREAT movie, it would be a SHAME to get them confused.
5) There was no remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. None. There have been a few sequels, in which some of today's hottest actors got their starts. Veigo Mortensen (Stryder in Lord of the Rings) was in Part 3, Matthew McConehey (or however it's spelled) & Rene Zelwigger were both in part 4.
Otherwise, you brough up some valid points.
Adios,
Steve

1. If you like crime movies you should stick with movies like Goodfellas, Mobsters, Casino, Godfather trilogy, Carlito's Way......Movies that have Real crime not silly acting.
2. Halloween was still boring and cheesy!
The Friday the 13th series totally blows away all the competition for that time.
3. Forgive me for looking down at the movie, I never actually noticed that those famous actors were in that movie considering the fact that they were covered in heavy makeup.
4. Yes, I actually enjoyed FEAR with Mark Wahlberg, it was very similiar to a true story that happened in my town.
5. Stryder?? What did he look like and what was his race in LOTR???

Thats not the point & you know it. You referred to a PG-13 movie that has no sex, not even a kissing scene, as "male porno" simply because the film had three characters who are gay. This means that either
a) You saw a completely different film & have confused the title or
b) You doth protest too much--meaning anyone who sees an innocent & innocuos light comedy like "Pricilla" & refers to it as "male porn" obviously has feelings that they are afraid of.
Either way a website that promotes PLUR is no place for homophobia. Whats next--are you going to refer to "Do The Right Thing" as a movie about them dammed coloreds?
