Your highlight of 2015?

I have had the best year in ages. Certainly the best since i got divorced which took me a while to get over. I have had a great year at work. The ward i work in is staffed by awesome nurses and doctors and i feel like i learn something every day. I have had a pretty quiet year drug wise ( i used to give it a right caning) and thats been good cause when i have indulged i have really enjoyed myself. Looking forward to see what 2016 has in store. Onwards and upwards.

I've had my Shambles for over a year now! This is the best year so far. 2016 will be our year of nesting and I really cannot wait! I can't stop smiling!

Moving in with my lovely one at long last at finally feeling like I've got a proper home, our 1 year anniversary, actually living until my 21st (not something I'd have expected a couple of years ago), managing to stay sober for err... 6 weeks I think now and being happy without drugs, learning what's important to me and 'finding myself' (or at least partly), making my own decisions and feeling like a proper adult and many other little things.

2015 has had loads of ups and downs but has easily been the happiest of my life due to one certain person. And from the looks of things 2016 should be even better. Nothing massive achieved but I've taught myself to find happiness in the little things now (mainly) and not live to please others and I feel much better for it :)

The break up of my fiance.
She broke up with me because of a friend of us.
Pretty tough but i'm generally more relaxed without her.
Can focus on important things.

You do realise that a bloke's meaning of 'nesting' is totally different to a woman's don't you? ;)

Best wishes to you both!

At the risk of flagging myself up as the anti-man... I actually mean precisely the same as my Good Lady when we speak of our Year of Nesting. The divvying up of who decides upon throw cushions and the like may be somewhat more traditional admittedly ;)

In related news, this was the year I took no MDPV. That'd be the first year since MDPV became available. My dopamine system (and general basic brain function) is gradually returning to something I recognise from a long time previous (although as I also turned 40 this year I'm pretty frikkin' decrepit anyway at this point :!). I've also finally stabilised on my script and have been taking a far more active approach to what is unfortunately described as "Recovery" (somebody needs to find a new name for... "it" :!). Completed a number of training courses with - perhaps - the ultimate goal of some kind of work in the HR field and also taking a couple courses for personal enjoyment.

All of this has been with my Good Lady at my side. Her timing couldn't have been more perfect if she tried and she has been with me every step of the way. Paw in paw. This is - by far - the highlight of 2015 <3

In tangentially-related news, this year was also the year I/we finally got to meet up with Koneko & Felix - a wet week camping in Wales really can be ftw in the right company <3

This past year we created a tiny little life, and for the last 9 months its been the most magical, fascinating, and humbling thing to witness our baby grow, ready for its arrival into our world.

That beats anything else I could think of hands down.
