Your feelings on low-grade MJ and its users? (And my essay on SCHWAG)

Do I look down on users of low grade weed? Of course not. Some people can't get good grade weed, other people are probably way more sensitive to cannabis than I am, so it makes sense some people would prefer low grade to top shelf.

Do I look down on the low grade weed itself? Nope; but am I going to smoke it? Nope. :)

I will buy a cheaper ounce so I can enjoy blunts/joints occasionally, but I normally buy a solid amount of top shelf. %)

Not true. Think about people who grow it themselves. Top shelf in a state like California isn't going to cost much more (sometimes costing less) than "regs" in non-MMJ states.

Maybe instead of hating on "rich kids" you can befriend them, then they might smoke you up. =D For the record I am not a "rich kid" whatsoever. I wouldn't be able to afford smoking dank weed in Tennessee either.
 
In Europe we don't really have to deal with schwag weed. It's much worse here. Some people put lead, sand, grinded tl-lamps, salts, hairspray, oil and other crap on the buds while they're still wet. It'll give the bud more weight when its dried. In Germany there have been cases of hospitalization(and possibly a death, I don't remember) from lead poisening after smoking some of this crap weed. If I have to choose between your Mexican brick weed or this filthy stuff, hand me over the schwag.
There are even reports of Dutch coffeeshops selling this, aldo in general the quality is good or better in the shops.

If people consider Jamaican or Thai import weed schwag then I don't really mind smoking it. It looks bad but the taste and effect for me was still oké. Not as potent as high grade pot tho. I'm high on some nice Bubble right now:D.

If I didn't have anything but shwag I would probably smoke it, and as my tolerance went down I might start actually getting high off it, but at this time I can't even buy the stuff and when I do smoke it it does absolutely nothing to me, so I'll stick with what I got. If I had to smoke mids I definitely wouldn't be smoking pipes or bubblers (especially since I would never taint my glass with that crap), only joints and blunts can do anything to mask the taste.

That being said, I say if someone can get high off mids or even really crappy shwag, more power to 'em. Just don't expect to be smoking my good weed and then "getting me back" by smoking your ditch weed with me.

Schwag is good for cooking with, and for smoking if you have no other herb around.

I haven't seen schwag for about more than a decade and that was when I was a teenager in highschool.

I know it's around but there's not really a demand for it or mids, if you know what I mean. In my area if you get PCP if they put it on herb they put it on schwag and you know it's wet/dust.

I don't even smoke that much. Sometimes I'll vaporize some a few times a year but that conserves your herb and you get very very stoned and it's almost like eating herb but without all of the confusion, massive body load, and when you vape you can actually easily move unlike when you eat too much herb.

If I were going to start smoking regularly or even daily again I'd take what I could get even if it was mids or schwag but I would prefer kind bud but sometimes you can't get that like others have said.

I love schwag...bushweed is what you call schwag right? As long as it was wellgrown, in the sun, and then exported to where I can smoke it I will smoke it.

It usually gets damaged in transit, stockpiled for months even YEARS by your top shottas then it gets to your hands.

I like it if I want a daytime smoke - something uplifting and heady...not something that will knock you the fuck out...something which has a low THC count is good - just a lil buzz...

Anyone who smokes high grade all the time is a JUNKIE.

Mixing bushweed with hash everytime makes it burn less harsh, slower, and tastier.

GROW YA OWN PEOPLE!!!!

OH and I have grown intense sativas from bushweed sacks.

Also if you dont wanna smoke it - coz it's so cheap you can make oil - can get an oz for X and you can get enough oil to make grade A product for a small price.
 
hm here in Europe (at least where i live), shitty weed is often as expensive as high quality stuff. so basically if you have the right connects you get "dank" or whatever and if not you're basically getting ripped off....

maybe because most weed here is from indoor farming sources, there is no location i know of in Europe where people grow outdoors in commercial quantities like say in Mexico. most outdoor growers do it to supply themselves (and maybe some friends), and decent outdoor weed can be as nice as indoor stuff.
 
Pros and cons for me about low grade and high grade
Low grade - pros-less anxiety, cheaper cons - high only last about 30 mins for me , waste of money.

High grade - Pros - get way more baked , looks good lol , don't have to smoke as much to get where you want to be.CONS - sometimes get to high and start getting panicky , cost alot.

No strong feelings, really. I get what I can get based on whatever hook up I've had at the time. Luckily for me I guess, nine times out of ten at any given point in my adult life I've ONLY had a hookup for dank herb and I've never even been able to GET regs. Sometimes this has been a bummer for me because I can't always afford the good herb and at times I've wished I could just get a big bag of regs.

Personally, and I know a lot of potheads don't understand this, but to me, weed is pretty much weed. Once I'm stoned I'm stoned and I don't notice a huge difference between being stoned on regs and being stoned on some crystally chronic. One tastes and looks prettier, sure. And maybe you need to smoke more of the regs to get the same effect but I've been smoking for over ten years now and the marijuana high is basically the same every time for me, no matter what strain or type I'm smoking.

Nope, like I said, if anything most of the time I'm stressed about even finding a hookup. I'll be happy with whatever I can get my hands on it, as long as it's pure and has some THC in it. :)
 
I prefer not to smoke schwag but I've made exceptions in the past! :)
I'll use it to make edibles with schwa rather than smoking it but if it's the difference between getting high and not getting high I'll smoke that shit!
 
I'll smoke schwag, given no other options. But if I have a good job, enough money, and a comfortable safe place to smoke, I'll buy up a bunch of hashish and honey oil and just go to town on that until I sleep (provided it's available). You really just can't beat Afghan hash or honey oil (bud is kind of a crap shoot)
 
I may be one of the few that agrees with you, psychomimetic.

If I could grow my own, I totally would. I can't smoke right now due to some testing from getting busted but when I could (and when I can again), I will likely opt for mid grade. I generally get mid grade for the same price or similar enough pricewise that it doesn't matter.

When I started smoking, I'd usually get a gram of some good and a quarter of mids. It didn't take long to notice how long that gram would last compared to how long the quarter of mids would last.

Yeah, so its not crazy from one hit but I enjoy the act of smoking as well as having more cash in my pocket. I'm also in the south and high grade is generally pretty expensive, esp. if you smoke regularly like me. I know many people I use to go to school with that are my age that so obviously can't afford the high grade but try to do so anyway with the argument that the non primo stuff gives them a headache or doesn't get them high.

This also makes them end up being stingy about their weed considering it costs so much. Then again a lot of the potheads I use to kick it with are stingy. I did end up moving on from a lot of them but in retrospect, when they're spending so much money on so little weed, the majority of them would struggle to make it efficient and fail miserably.

Don't get me wrong, high grade is wonderful but pot is expensive if you smoke a lot of it. Unless you grow or can get high grade on the cheap or afford it, mid grade just seems like the best option. You just get more bang for your buck.
 
so my friend recently acquired a plug for schwag, and we were breaking it up to smoke a blunt (ew headache) and we found FUR. as though a bunny was chopped into this mixture. this is seriously dead animal. WTF?
 
Fur does not belong in marijuana, be it low grade or better. If i were ever offered a bag like that I would refuse to accept it, plain and simple. And your brother is a moron for wanting to smoke fur, seriously. I say at least discard the fur in the trash bin before he tries to smoke it, that would just be one of the worst things he could smoke

Man that's fucked up, why does he want to smoke the fur? It's not like it even becomes psychoactive after being in a brick of weed, it's still just fur.

I've never found anything weird in schwag, I've found bits of string occasionally but nothing really weird or gross. I would def not smoke weed with any part of a deceased animal in it, that's just weird.
 
I remember decades ago I was with friends and helping clean out a QP of high end schwag or what some people would consider low end mids, and we found a pretty large chunk of glass which was thrown out.
