i second that.

also benzaldehyde is very nice (among many things)

acetone is not bad but imo diethyl ether smells better. hell, i don't even find H2S that bad :)

also i think cigarette smoke is nice, or the way my hands smell after an acid trip. it's always the same smell and it's there on every trip, what i have done during the trip makes no difference…

Second...freshly ground coffee.
 
used books, rain, freshly cut grass, lilacs (basically the smell of spring)....those are what I can think of offhand but I know there's more.
 
Hmm this is a toughie... probably the various outdoor smells. Seashore, after raining, late-summer's eve, barbeque, newly mown grass, etc. IMO humans have zero taste in smell. Cloying soaps & lotions, just-plain-nasty perfume, smells used to cover up others, etc... uggh.

Man I read this whole thread and I was wondering when somebody was gonna say that. I was gonna say powder heroin cooking in a spoon, even though I Haven't smelled it in 30 years, the thought of it still makes my stomach move after all this time.

I like the smell of a big o jar of curing buds when you first crack the lid open.

whatever my girlfriend's perfume is mixed with her normal scent. %)

my dog (call me strange, but my pup smells great..I think this is along the lines of when people say that babies smell wonderful)

high quality heroin powder ( I know this is only because the smell is associated with the drug high)
 
I've always had a soft spot for bus fumes.

The smells of carpet stores, sushi places, and good coffee shops have always ranked up there.
 
I LOVE the smell of New Jersey. No wait, just kidding. New Jersey smells like fuckin SHIT. I love the smell of good weed in the air. I like walking into a place where blunt(s) are being smoked. Also I love the smell on your hands when you smoke a blunt/joint. Brings me back.
 
not sure i could name one now.

but when i was a kid, our school had these markers that were scented. I used to love the brown one.

it was not poop scented.
