NEMD Your Favorite Live Televised Performances

Bowie was fond of intimate tv appearances where he'd casually knock out incredible live versions of his stuff

This was in a small tv/radio studio, gotta be my favourite live version of this, he sounds great, band are on fire (dat bass eh)

Ok, so the situation is that I'd taken a shine to this gorgeous goth girlie whose best mate was seeing a friend of mine. They were going to 'The Tube' a Friday teatime show on Channel4 in the UK, this was January 1987 for context, show was in a Northern city (@axe battler 's yard) and they were particularly keen to see The Mission (UK goth band who had formed out f the ashes of the Sisters of Mercy)

So, I tagged along, got loaded on a lot of stromg amphetamine sulphate which my friend had infused pretty much the whole crowd with by then and yeah, got lucky afterwards with the gorgeous goth, so this show takes me back somewhat...and no, none of us areclearly visible on the film, was stood halfway back leaning against a wall. BUT I did enjoy the band a lot more than I ex[pected to, particularly the cover of 1969 (Iggy and The Stooges) which starts around 5.30 mins in
