Man with the Golden Gun gets my vote. A lot of people dislike Moore, but I thought he was a pimp in this movie. I think it was among the classiest bond films. Goldeneye was the best modern bond film, I thought it was pretty deep compared to shit they have come out since then.

i cant decide which was my favorite, but i know i hated all the ones with timothy dalton

i have always preferred connery to any other bond but, for sheer movie-going fun, my favourite bond movie is probably live and let die.

i think brosnan makes a fine bond and the newer movies are great 'saturday matinee' viewing.

And the Timothy Dalton question is answered. Living Daylights and Liscence to Kill. Liscence to Kill brought back the idea that bond was less heroic and charismatic as he was a government sponsored killer. Yes, he lost his liscence to kill breifly in that, but this was the 2nd or 3rd time Bonds wife is killed JUST after getting married.

The Brosnan movies TRY to latch onto the "Man tortured by the faces of 10,000 corpes of men he's killed" sorta thing. But it fails...because then he conviently sets down a bottle of Shmirnoff so you can clearly read the label of that 20$ a bottle shit.

Dalton wasn't great, but he was better than Moore. Worst Bond Movie Ever: Moonraker. Even Brosnan can't befoul my TV screen more than that.

^^ Lol ! I always thought moonraker was one of the funniest Bond films, just because of the sheer bullshit idea of someone building a remote space station in the 80's , and the whole space-battle scene, it was just so hillarious I was always on the floor watching it. You know it's bullshit but you can still enojoy it.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Bond was not getting married in this film, another agent was and he got killed along with HIS wife... not Bond's wife.

^
slightly re-curring character Felix Leiter gets married in License to Kill. i think his new wife gets killed to get the story started. the film also features a young Benicio Del Toro.

but it had JAWS!!!! and LASER GUNS!!!! and YELLOW JUMPSUITS!!!!!

although it was kind of weird watching a bunch of babes pretending to be attracted to a retiree

You were right. IT's someone elses wife. The lighter he uses to kill End of the Movie Bad Guy was engraved from them to him. My bad. :D

I'd forgotten they'd finally moved onto other minor reoccuring ageless characters wives being killed :: whew ::!

jaws owns you!!!!!!

^^ I loved the part in Moonraker where Bond is hunting with the villain, and he shoots the gun and the villain goes "HAH! You missed!" and then a sniper, who was aiming at bond, falls out of the tree dead, and Bond goes... "did I?"
