Your favorite band seen live.

I saw Dick Dale play a couple weeks ago and man, for an old dude, he still tears shit up. I sure as fuck wish I could be as awesome as him in my seventies.

I wish I could say it was Protest the Hero seeing has how I've seen them four times live now but only one of those times was I really blown away, and that is probably because I was drunk out of my mind. It is really hard to say considering some of the talents that I've had the luck to see. It really comes down to being either the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (whom I saw back in 2007 featuring an 17 year old piano prodigy who played two hours worth of insane piano pieces all from memory) or Joey Pero. I drove 10 hours with some of my friends to see Pero give a master class and a concert and consider it to possibly be on the best days of my life. We actually got to me up with him after the concert at a bar in town to have drinks and talk music. It was quite awesome.

Gotta say without a doubt The String Cheese Incident.

they're so fucking rad. been seeing them since 97 and did my fair share of winter carnivals all up and down the west coast back in the day. hadn't seen them in a lllooooonnngggg time until this past fall when i did asheville>atlanta.

they still got it. such a fun time. been hearing really good reviews about the tour they're on right now. hornings hideout coming up this weekend.

and....what chitwon rollin said.

The Flamin Lips was the craziest, most awesome, mind bending psychedelic carnival I have ever experienced!
