Your experience/opinion on Tramadol?

What is creatinine and what is its function? When too much TRAMADOL(not trazadone, my bad) injested, are creatinine levels affected?
I think the hospital Dr. said that having taken so much tramadol caused creatinine to go too high and thats why I had the seizures. I'm not sure that I understood him because my brain was fried after the seizures. I surely was not in the mood to ask questions.
One more quick question please, does one have to have, at some leval, a propensity toward seizures inorder to react to a tramadol OD the way I did. I understand that any response I might be given would be an opinion, and not necessarily a med fact.
I take no med opinions, M.D. or otherwise at face value. Was misdiagnosed for 9 years with addisons disease. Never in 55 years had I had a seizure. yet the neurologist assigned to my case by the hospital determined that since my EEG'S was very spikie that seizures were not drug induced but that I was an epileptic. She however was run out of town on a rail due to her extreme incompetence.
Appreciate any info. Interesting stuff

Criminally underrated and not respected enough, especially in the minority of people who have CYP2D6 polymorphisms.

I've never had Tramadol itself, but I've had about two grams of O-Desmethyltramadol over the past few months. I must say it's a very pleasurable drug. I'd venture to guess I'd be a good metaboliser, simply because I only need 10-25mg of O-DSMT to get a good buzz going.

The only time I've taken Tramadol was in the very beginning of my opiate addiction, when I could still stay high all day off 10-20mg of hydrocodone. IMO it didn't feel much like an opiate at all. The high itself had a dirty feeling for lack of better words and mostly just put me in a strange half sleep state. Haven't had the desire to pick it up since then.

Tramadol for me does nothing. I was/am prescribed it for my back pain due to a fall I had. I was carrying some pretty heavy boxes coming down stairs and I slipped and fell right on my tailbone. Luckily the stairs had carpet but it still hurt like hell. It was the worse pain I ever felt that I blacked out/passed out. Now many years later and many doctor and specialist visits later I have nerve damage. And for my occupation I am a mechanic so I am always on my back under the car or straining over which makes my back pain worse. Only thing that ever helped was hydrocodone. But no matter how many times I've been to the doctor they do not prescribe it to me. So I'm always in pain because Tramadol does not work for me.

It gives very strong euphoria and nodding when I have 0 tolerance to opiates. I've also abused the shit out of it when I could buy it very cheap (500mg around 1$), in three months my maximum doses were up to 3g with benzos in order to no get seizures, after that I wen back to 1g/daily.
