The reason I made this thread is because peoples different opinion on Ultram/Tramadol.

Some people love it (like me) and some people swear its useless.
If I personally take 150-200MG tramadol, I can easily nod or fall asleep. And thats what happend lastnight.

Im kind of surprised it happend because I used heroin and oxy for days before and use to be a heroin addict, I was using atleast a week then bought 25 of them for the withdrawals from heroin/hydro/oxy and ate 4 and got more fucked up then I ever did snorting the heroin I had?¿

Whats your guys opinion?
Do you get high off tramadol?
Whats your sweet spot dose of tramadol?

IMO I love it<3

From what I have gathered, Tramadol is an opioid but not an opiate... If anyone can explain the difference in laments terms I'd appreciate it.

Foremost, I'm REALLY curious if it
would it show up on a drug test as an opiate, something else or not at all?
Particularly a Mouth swab or urine test.

Personally, I really super enjoyed Tramadol in my past experience. However, I have since become a frequent heroine user; so I'm not sure it will still achieve the same effect. Having recently been prescribed Tramadol (for back pain)- I guess I will find out.

Additionally, I have encountered some threads in which people report Tramadol having helped them get through opiate withdrawal. I am optimistic that it will effect me in the same way because I would love to kick. I just can't bring myself to get through the physical suffering. Already having constant back/leg pain, as soon as the withdrawal begins the pain increases to a crippling point and becomes completely intolerable. Then, as more time passes, more severe withdrawal symptoms start to pile up on top of it and I never seem to make it to the other side. Currently trying to taper off: using less heroine in each fix as well as less overall through the day/ week. I hope that tapering, coupled with Tramadol & muscle relaxers, will guide me to the light.

If anyone has any relative experience or insight on this I'm all ears.

I would also be happy to answer any and all questions. As well as, share my years of gathered knowledge, formulated opinions, and personal experiences.

Word up BL community.

I dig tramadol. Even with a decent opiate tolerance I can still get a good buzz off 300mg or less of tramadol. Makes me very talkative and relaxed, somewhat similar to the uplifting high of oxycodone or buprenorphine (thebaine derived opiates I believe). Anyways I think there is a limit to how much you can take a day before you are at risk for a seizure so keep that in mind. I usually took 200mg for a decent buzz but dosages vary according to the individual.

An opiate is a drug that is derived directly from the poppy pod of the papaver somniferum plant. An opioid is a synthetic drug that doesn't appear naturally in the poppy, but rather is derived from one of the poppies alkaloids. So basically, opioids are created in a lab whereas opiates appear in nature, mostly in the papaver somniferum plant.

For example; codeine & morphine are opiates but oxycodone, hydrocodone and tramadol are opioids. Because the latter 3 were made in a lab instead of discovered in nature, like morphine and codeine are.

Some even say tramadol is a semi-synthetic opioid; because it acts both as an SNRI (a type of anti-depressant) and as a µ-agonist(=opiate effects). It definitely works well for me. The SNRI effect works immediately as opposed to all those other crap anti-depressants that take months to start working. (I don't like SSRI's :p ). The liver metabolizes around 10% of the tramadol into O-desmethyltramadol. 10% of the population are good metabolizers, and they can get really high off tramadol. while the other 90% doesn't seem to get much out of it. If that is the case I'm definitely one of those 10% because I can get high as a kite off of tramadol. At least when I'm not using harder opies (Oxy, H, morphine or the like), although for me it combines really well with morphine.

That's all I have to add about tramadol at this time. :)

I first used tramadol and got a speed like high from it, after a couple months it lost its effect. Years later I found that it worked great for Opie withdrawals in larger quantities. I have passed several pre-employment UA's and post accident UA's DOT. Also I used tramadol for withdrawal symptoms during suboxone induction and worked GREAT! No percipatated withdrawals or interaction with the suboxone. Love Tramadol as a 2nd

Im in that 10% also, took the 200MG and told myself damn I took to much while nodding and almost got sick because how high I was, even after oxy and heroin after a week binge and being an ex H addict

I threw my back out really bad earlier this year and went to my GP. She gave me Perc 5's that worked but went too quickly as my pain was so bad and ever present that I couldn't sleep. A week later I saw the orthopedic doctor she recommended (PA) and after first telling me he could give me prescription Motrin he wrote a script for 24 hour 100mg Tramadol. It was the most useless painkiller I've ever taken. Months later I've still got some in the drawer even though I've suffered through pain almost constantly since and have been through a lot of pers. I'm going to the pain clinic tomorrow and I hope they can help me. If I get Tramadol I'm going to be very disappointed.

it's pretty meh. great the first two weeks; after that you have to raise your doses so high you'll sooner or later get a seizure. been taking it for two weeks now. took 1200 mg the last three days. the withdrawal is minor though. not that much akathisia and anxiety. 48 mg loperamide eliminated 90 % av all withdrawal symptoms.

now, high on amphetamine, it's not even noticeable.

i used to get super hi from tramadol. in fact, my love for tramadol is what made me want to do harder opiates. (although tramadol isnt really an opiate? idk...sure felt like one at the time)

yea first opioid i ever tried -- actually the first drug i ever tried! -- and i loved it back then. now, meh! i guess i'm tired of opioids. only hash and the occasional benzo and stim for me nowadays.

Don't expect that u will get high..u may "only" have seizures.
Ruptured a disc. Had been on opiates for months without much benefit for the nerve pain. Asked Dr what else there was. Prescribed trazadone er. Said not to worry that it was a non narcotic-non steroidal-anti inflammatory. I'm thinking, this jerk is giving me Motrin; thanks for nothin bucdy! Over weekend I took as prescribed with no relief. Went back to work monday hurting badly. I thought, I'll take 3. I waited an hour or 2, and still no relief or feeling different in any way. So I took 3 more. Not long after that i had my 1st gen. tonic-clonic seizure. Within couple of hours had the 2nd... mentally, took months before others thought I was back to normal. But I know, I'm not the same

^Trazodone and tramadol are 2 entirely different substances. Also, tramadol isn't a non-narcotic NSAID.

Tramadol is a joke. You couldn't get high on those bastards if you had a truckload. I'd rather snort Tylenol, it would be the same buzz- As your nose falls off.

Tramadol is a nice combination with psychedelics a and uppers to bring our euphoria s or other weak opiods such as kratom to make. You nods .

Standalone it's kinda dangerous to chase the high

Mixing tramadol with certain psycadelics that are serotogenic can be fatal because of serotonin syndrome.
