Your Drug use causing sexual dysfunction?

After abusing mephedrone in the summer of 2011, I have been experiencing constant but slowly recovering erectile pain, orgasmic pain, post-ejaculatory pain for weeks (now down to hours), pelvic pain, lower back pain, knee pain and leg pain. I had to stop having sex for over 4 months with my partner whom i live with.

After misdiagnosed with prostate infection, I found that I have chronic pelvic pain syndrome that is cured by certain type of physical therapy and started intense psychological and body rejuvination through enzyme and supplement therapy. Im hoping to make full recovery by end of 2013 (2+ years after drug abuse incident).

Wondering if anyone has experiences, recovered or not, about drug abuse that created serious damages to your sex life. looking for support and also discussion around any form of drug use hindering ability to sexually function naturally.
 
Yessiree. Opiates just fuck my sex drive up. When I'm on them I don't have much of a sex drive, and if I do I can rarely cum even if I engage in sexual activity.

When I stop taking them I cum in a minute or two at first and then slowly go back to normal over about a month.
 
I know I had no sex drive whatsoever while on opiates. I honestly would turn sex down. Crazy... I stopped taking any dope 10 days ago after a 10 yr opiate addiction. I have had a couple wet dreams since I quit. Is this normal? Or has anyone else experienced that? Or maybe I'm just an oddball. Lol
 
I'm confused - you say these problems are caused by 'chronic pelvic pain syndrome'. So it's unrelated to your past drug use then?
I've certainly never heard of drugs creating such strong sexual problems but it's not rare at all for them to increase or decrease the sex drive.

They absolutely caused my situation. My issue may be in part to neurotransmitter imbalances that were caused by drug use, specifically Cathinones as nothing ever caused me issues like this. Is part muscular damage, caused by manic behavior on drugs I would never done sober, and I think long-term psychological damage that I still haven't recovered from. Whenever I consume any drugs besides alcohol and nicotine, my symptoms become amplified even amyl nitrate. Especially not cannabis, psychedelics or any stimulant. It's forced me to drop all those substances
 
well weed and alcohol are on both sides of the spectrum for me

alcohol will make me horny but it can also make me very numb to the experience
weed will also make me horny but it causes add and my brain is all over the place so i can loose focus

Aah okay sorry. I've got to say I'd never heard of opioids messing up your sex life in that way, that sounds quite painful/debilitating. I don't really know what advice to give other than lay off the drugs and hopefully that'll make the healing process quicker :/
 
mephedrone caused the most intense horniness ever of any drug i have tried.

i haven't had the same problems you have and i became a compulsive wankaholic when snorting meph. i mostly was into porn. did you mess your pelvis up with someone heavy bouncing on it for days at a time?

the psychological effects of meph abuse recover in time- it really messes up your serotonin system in a big way.

steer clear of other drugs for now if they exacerbate your symptoms:\
