One by one by the beds
Books are clenched in the arms of tribesmen
each entitled to their own opinion
Crashing market fasts the stock
the axe weld for the reading
puddles bare while the wit is wet
This war is not for tea-time

General tells the single where to put
Each foot in front of the other
everyone is dreaming about themselves
Where to put the end?
Invitations are accepted and declined
such is the way of the world
Just admit it

We're on the same page, perhaps on different sides
It's all a matter of perspective
I see now; the wise are demented
and the warlord is the messiah

Awesome stuff, truly awesome

Thanks man! I am really getting to the point where I need to publish SOMETHING, especially that I'm almost done this ''zine'' I'm making with pictures, and my best poems...

"Everyone is dreaming about themselves": you got that right!

I'd love to see this zine thing - is it finished yet? :)

I think I'll wrap it up once I just put together one more page of poetry and images... I can send you individual pages of it anytime though
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it once it's done. Just print it out and sell it for a dollar on the streetcorner in some city? I have too many stories/poems written to not be abusing editors and readers with it :)
