Your biggest drug-related pet peeves?

i hate when ppl offer u a line and then dont follow up with another one ... i fuckin hate teasers like that ...

however on the other hand whenenver i give a friend a line there's plenty of more to follow ...
 
Maddkatt, nice one to point that out, it is indeed horrid, I feel so edgy after one line with no follow up, it's like only taking one toke or half a pill with nothing to add to it and feeling very out of place, hmm let's call that the mental realm of the unsatisfied... that place... sucks!
 
I have this friend that I always smoke with and we've been smoking forever. But whenever he gets stoned, he always talks about food. And we usually stop and get some chips or cereal and he'll sit there and munch away to the point where everyone can hear him. That has always bugged the hell out of me.

Another thing is when this one guy ODed in school. He didn't die, but the school had to get the ambulance and he was expelled from the school. When I asked him what he ODed on, he told me took 6 ecstasy pills. I knew he was lieing and whenever I found out who sold him pills, they told me he took all these Valiums and Lortabs that were sold to him.
 
1. when someone i barely know asks me for a bump. and i give them a bump and they act like its not enough.

2. when i give ppl lines for free all night, share all i have w/ them and they complain about it in some way. they're tired, they wish we had more. well if you want more, try buying your own sometimes... i'm the one with no job and still trying to buy shit.
and then she claims how she has never actually bought anything. well yeah because we all give you lines for free.
and one night when i dont have money to get into the club ($7) she pays for me and gets pissy when i say, how bout we call it even and i'll split what i have with you tonight.
^^thats all referring to one girl by the way....shes a fucking dope ho

its cool when say you all throw some down. or when you just both share back and forth according to whoever has money at the time...but when you never ever have your own...thats bullshit.

3. when ppl act all secretive about going off to chop lines. dude, i understand if you feel bad about not being able to give everyone free lines, dont act all shady about it though.

When you're chilling out with some friends and there's this one paranoid kid who obviously doesn't have a handle on his usage and just fucks with everyone. not intentionally, just paranoia getting the best of him. It always fucks up the vibe, makes people uncomfortable.

5. ppl who are just not careful and ignorant. talking about wanting a line and all kinds of shit in a not very crowded club at 4 am w/ a bouncer 2 or 3 feet away.

6. when you're rolling (HARD) and its a big party. almost everyone has glass on them. a girl gets there and needs a line...and asks you. convenient, ask the most fucked up person there. and you're shaking too much and just rolling too damn hard to chop a line so you let her do it...trusting her. before she goes to do it, you look at it and its a fucking rail and had poured out half of what you had. so you decide you want a bump of it (it is YOURS after all)...she seems peturbed by this. hell, you offered to pay for the line and i wouldnt let you, remember? that just bothered me.

7. who ever said something about only giving one line. what if you're seriously splitting the last of what you have w/ them. what if after one line, you CANT give them more. are you talking about ppl who have plenty and offer/give you a line and then nothing else.
or are you also including when a person asks for a line...and expects ppl to keep them supplied all night long?

8. fiending and not knowing who on earth to call because ppl are getting arrested and quitting and some you just havent talked to in over a month. and you want to get totally spun. :\ (this would be me now)

oh and everything i said refers to meth

I know what you mean. Some girl at my school wanted to sell me 5 mg generic Percocets for 15$ each. She also tried to tell me that it was good to snort them. When I explained to her why there was no point she told me that I was wrong and that she "knew her drugs".

Well... maybe she needed that much for her to get off or whatever, and knew that, so she offered to pay for it... Sometimes you'd rather pay for a good hit than settle for anything less or something.

(Then again, it's also possible that it's 4am, I know jack and shit about meth, and I'm talking out of my ass here. She also could've just paid someone else or something.)
 
thats possible. but she also knows i'm the only one w/o a job and always have the smallest amounts on me. at LEAST 6 or 7 other ppl there w/ it on them....half of 'em were dealers and i was the most fucked up.
it wasnt even that i offered....it was like, someone was on the phone w/ her and told her i was rolling, yadda yadda they talked more and then she goes, "hey sarah, can you give c* a line?"
and hell, i was rolling of course i would...

and another guy in the kitchen w/ us saw what she had poured out and was very very surprised. the girl had only been doing shit for 2 months, MAYBE and i knew from partying with her that her tolerance wasnt THAT damn high.
what bothers me the most was that i was most fucked up...knew least what was going on....and the chick is kinda conniving anyway....

Yes, this is one of my biggest. People who make fun of "crackheaads," but in reality tweakers up for weeks on crystal can be just as bad if not worse. People who make fun, but don't realize how many normal, white people do crack occasionally. Crack is very bad, but in my opinion its got too much of a rep for being the worst drug, when arguably it's not necessarily the worse.

I totally agree.....injecting something into your VEINS is totally different than inhaling, snorting, ingesting, or plugging. You're putting it in your fucking VEIN. It is most def. a different type of drug use and not merely recreational. You have a serious problem if you're shooting up every damn day. Is this how you want to live your life? Sorry....I hate needles!

To the individual who just posted the last two posts...Do you realize that you are contradicting yourself?People should not put down crackheads but putting something into your veins is reprehensible?Hmmm...I wonder what your drug of choice is?Here is something you should consider:When you snort coke where does it go?When you smoke coke where does it go?If you were to inject that same coke,where does it go?Here is something that will blow your mind:YOUR VEINS! The only difference in your mode of delivery is the onset of effects and their duration.If one uses in a responsible manner[yes,I assure you,it is very possible]than it is as safe as any other mode.Just for the record,I am not an I.V. user,just someone who detests hypocrisy.However,I have seen people die from both sniffing and smoking cocaine and certainly don't feel that people should fool themselves into complacency.
 
I think so many people have a problem with injecting shit because it's not something most people would EVER consider. I mean, imagine the normal person: First off, they HATE getting shots or having blood drawn. The thought of a needle puncturing their skin and putting something into them is as frightening as it is gross. Plus, when injecting, you have a huge (compared to other means of taking drugs) chance of getting an infection, not the least of which is AIDS.

To the normal, non-injector, the thought of someone putting themselves through all of these things that they fear and loath for something as unneccassary as a drug seems like desperation at it's purest.

On the other hand, smoking doesn't seem so bad because it mimics a typical human activity you are doing right now: breathing. Snorting, though deemed by most to be more dispicable than smoking, doesn't compare to injecting because you don't actually have to puncture your skin.

All this animosity is unwarrented. Most people DO see injecting as "dirty" and "desperate" for the reasons I've mentioned above. If you are making the decision to inject drugs, you just need to come to terms with this fact. Most people who inject drugs have overcome their inate "fear" of needles and infection, just like most people who use all drugs have overcome their innate fear of drugs in general. If you do not inject drugs, you should try to be tolerant of those who do.

You make it sound like AIDS is like a bacterial infection! You only get AIDS from sharing needles, and in places like Australia they have needle exchanges so clean needles are cheaply available.

The point about IVing is it bypasses all of our bodies natural filtration systems. True, eventually the drug ends up in our blood no matter the route (or else you wouldn't get high) but by eating/snorting/smoking it has passed through at least one method of removing cuts and bacteria. With a needle you don't, the cuts are deposited directly into your blood. With the other routes of administering you don't get any of the cuts into your blood. Thats what a lot of people are weary of.
