It's thought to be 2-DPMP or Desoxypipradrol.. A very long lasting stimulant that is active at under 1mg..

Lots of reports of stimulant psychosis with this 1.
 
It could actually be MDVP or Naphyrone. They must have a really good reason to suspect it contains a class B drug else they wouldn't have bothered.

The police know as much as we do, which is nothing. like i said they'll test it and if they find out it is a class b it wont be that head shop guy who gets in the shit. it will be the suppliers.

if they've been putting class b's into their products the law is gonna come down very very hard on them.

hopefully it will kill the whole head shop market of mystery products.
 
Seriously who knows what they put in the "Name Brand" RC's. Could be cod liver and rat poison. Taking things is almost always a risk but these things seem to push the limit. I'm really glad I don't do drugs in a group setting cause I'm sure I'd "just go with it" and not be as cautious as I am at home.
 
I could see the reasons behind his stupidity in some ways. For the longest time I always assumed the legal "highs" sold in head shops were bunk and a rip off for desperate people. I have learned to the contrary. I think that there are a good bit of legal highs at head shops, jwh 108 laced herbs, salvia, nitrous, amyl nitrate, other research chem blends. This guy could have tried this not expecting much or anything. The fact that he consumed five packs is a bit odd though.

Just because it is legal doesn't mean it wont have powerful or dangerous effects
 
The article title phrases it as if he died as a direct consequence of taking the drug.

So if I jumped off a cliff--and drank two liters of water beforehand--can someone write an article entitled "Man dies after drinking two liters of water" ?
